I recently visited Tiffin Box and had a delightful experience. I ordered the Mix Veg Paratha, which came with chole, chutney, and dahi. The portion size was more than enough for one person, leaving me completely satisfied. The paratha was well-cooked, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the sides. The service was excellent—quick and attentive, ensuring a smooth dining experience. To top it off, I had a chai after my meal, and they served it with Parle-G biscuits. It instantly brought back childhood memories and added a nostalgic touch to the meal. If you’re looking for delicious, homely Indian food with great service, Tiffin Box is worth a visit!

The food was amazing—I finally had real Kerala food in the UK after a long time. The kalappam and fish curry were too tasty. Overall, the experience was great.

I love to give great reviews for great food but also feel compelled to leave a review if terrible. Sad, as reviews online and on app seem good, but my food was shocking. Hoping restaurant sees this and maybe feels I was incredibly unlucky or chef's girlfriend dumped him that day or something. Hard to believe what I received based on previous reviews. Mixed grill was OK ish but, as always, seems to be the case I find with all Indian and kebab places, the lamb was tough and chewy. It seems to be almost impossible to get marinated and soft lamb as every time it's a challenge for my jaw and teeth. Common issue, so what about everything else? I asked if it was possible to make my jalfrezi a medium rather than hot. I figured meant adding a bit less chilli. I received an awful, bland curry with a taste profile not even remotely close to a jalfrezi. I have ibs and diverticulitis. Need to be careful with garlic and onion as can make me ill. Very, very, very politely asked these guys to please minimise onions wherever might be possible. My curry had loads of sliced onion in it, almost as if i had asked for extra. Mixed grill was smothered in, admittedly, very nice looking fried onions that seemed very appetising, but I had to pick out and bin. So, overall, a really bad experience and means as well as poor food it seems they don't follow instructions, meaning customers might be ill. I don't feel my £26 order on 15th Oct was money at all well spent and I can only suggest you all avoid if my experience was in any way typical. I've had hundreds of jalfrezis in my life so to find one that tasted completely unfamiliar from a supposedly decent curry area like stokey is a great disappointment to me....

I have been using this take away for years their food is good and it is tasty but you need to tell them exactly what you want and they will do what they can to deliver. But sadly today was a desaster I don’t want to blame the restaurant but due to the bad weather I order a meal at 8.27pm told I would have to wait at least an hour called twice nothing I finally called at 10.30 pm to be told two drivers had crashed due to the weather and 50 or 60 had to be cancelled but not once did anyone make any effort to call and apologise I had to do the calling there are many areas for improvement I will take point that the sudden extream weather had a immediate effect on the restaurant but they really need to sort out the customer service side of the business . Remember the food is not bad at all but you need to tell them exactly how you want it made and they will deliver … they are always...

Generally very poor.

The only acceptable thing on the menu is the paratha and perhaps the roti.. the actual food .. (of which thankfully they only managed to deliver half) is quite dire.

Their method of cookery (and I say this as a cook) is boiling up meat and chicken of dubious origins (horse?) with some garlic and ginger perhaps.... and then chucking some industrial grade sauce of some sort or another on top... and voila... the same boiled up mulch can be a Jalfarezi or a Korma or a Vindaloo and so on..

This isn't sub-continental food..its neither Indian nor Pakistani. It's just another rather poor example of the kind of swill being hawked in the UK by spivs to people who don't know any better.

My advice is to avoid these people altogether.

Such a pity they can't put a little...
