From the moment we stepped into Tomo we knew we were in for something special. The warm ambiance, attentive service, and exquisite attention to detail set the stage for what turned out to be an unforgettable dining experience.

The menu was a delightful balance of creativity and tradition, featuring fresh, high-quality ingredients expertly prepared. All my meals were recommended by the owner, Mrs Ewa: I started with Gamberoni Diavola, which was beautifully presented and packed with flavour. For the main course, I knew I wanted pizza and it was simply outstanding—perfectly cooked, crispy but soft, rich in taste with all possible flavours in the palette, complementary to each other and paired with a thoughtfully selected wine. Also recommended Montepulciano by Ewa.

What truly sets Tomo apart is the impeccable service. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the food they served. Every recommendation was spot-on, and their attention to detail made us feel like honored guests.

If you’re looking for an exceptional dining experience where every bite is a delight and every moment is memorable, Tomo is the place to be. We can’t wait to...

First time at Tomo (evening of 21/4/17), the food was incredible, and the service was very friendly. We ordered 3 pizzas - 1 Bufala (tomato sauce and then buffalo mozzarella and basil after cooking), 1 Napoletana (tomato sauce, mozzarella, olives, anchovies, capers), and 1 special (spinach, goat's cheese, sundried tomatoes, red pesto). The Napoletana was slightly too salty, but that's the only criticism I have. The Bufala was one of the best pizzas I've ever had, and the dough was a perfect balance of chewy and crisp. Oh, and the pizzas are relatively large, so bear that in mind when ordering.

Visited Tomo again in winter 2021 and was super impressed once more. Hilariously their anchovies are still a little too salty, but the GIULIA was awesome. A word of note - I would strongly recommend anyone ordering that pizza to accept a heavy dose of freshly ground black pepper because it would really complement the flavours. The dough is still crisp and airy, and charred exactly the amount I like (I've noticed a trend in places overcooking pizzas presumably because char is...

Ate here again tonight and it was just perfect. Also found below review in my drafts when I went to write this. The only thing that has changed about this place in the 12 years we've been eating here is the decor. The place looks great and the bathrooms are beautiful. But the food is as delicious as it as ever been. Perfect pasta and pizza and amazing friendly service. Its one of the best Italian restaurants ever. Happily travel the miles from walthamstow to eat here. ♥️♥️♥️

Tomo is without doubt one of the most delicious places to eat in the whole of London. The owners and staff are lovely and the food is amazing and fantastic value. We have lived on Hornsey High Street for as long as its been open and I cannot count the number of times we have eaten here. The pasta is always cooked perfectly and the pizzas are excellent. Thoroughly recommend the lasagne, the pollo milanese and any of the pizzas! The mozarella served here is some of the best I have ever encountered. Completely agree with George re no better restaurant in Hornsey or Crouch...

Okay, it took me three visits before writing this review, but I must admit this is one of the very few restaurants in London where the customer truly comes first. They serve high-quality food not just for profitability but for genuine customer satisfaction. This, of course, leads not only to profitability but also to customer loyalty. The value for money here is unparalleled compared to other Italian restaurants in town. Their attention to detail and the quality of their ingredients are remarkable. Additionally, you can feel the warmth of a family-run business in the way they treat their customers. Another bonus is the ample parking spaces available nearby. All in all, I couldn’t be happier with my dining experience at this restaurant.

Fancied an early dinner, this is the place to go in Hornsey for tasty Italian! Staff are always so polite and friendly here. We usually opt for the set menu, but you must place your order before 7pm. Fantastic value. The aubergine with their special tomato sauce is delicious. Whilst my friend ordered the deep fried calamari and zucchini. For the main, we ordered a pizza which was huge, and the pollo milanese with spaghetti, perfectly cooked and well flavoured. Homemade desserts were lush, we went for the cheesecake and tiramisu, which were delightful. Only downside is, there is no stepfree toilets, once the restaurant is full, it can seem cosy. I prefer to go really, around 5.30pm, before it gets really busy.
