So you go to order for their 2 for 1 cocktail and get asked if you can wait a few minutes as they have a keg delivery.
Of course… but when you go back up you’re told, sorry deals now off.
Harry, who says he’s in charge, tells me I’m making a big deal out of an £8 extra charge for being helpful.
Reluctantly called the manager, who at least apologised.
Really poor. How to reward a helpful customer?
In reply to the dishonest and frankly ridiculous reply from Management, which sadly affirms why staff aren't interested in customer service and disputes their suggestion of "making a great experience for all."
From the review, it's clear I said I wanted the 2 for 1 deal... and then got asked to wait, so to look to "clarify what happened" and then completely contradict it, indicates a stubborn determination to blame the customer.
I did in fact ask "could you process the order, let me pay and then bring over the drinks when done with the delivery" so I could go back and drink with my friends, not stand around on the bar waiting. The staff just asked me to wait, which I did. It ended up being to my detriment.
I'm pleased that you don't accept rudeness or shouting towards your staff, that is how it should be. Maybe check the CCTV before you start making such dishonest allegations.
There was no shouting, there was no rudeness. Plus try to remember this person you are accusing of being rude, was the one who was polite and accommodating to your business circumstance..
I simply asked them to see how they could accommodate the circumstance they created. When that was challenging, I asked who was in charge, as I pointed out it was unfair that I was accommodating and then punished. As Harry, was happy to tell me not to make such a big deal out of £8, which in of itself shows who was being rude, it further suggests that providing a great experience is low on his agenda.
That management didn't recognise this in the call, unless Harry presented the circumstances dishonestly, further confirms that no effort to provide a great experience was followed through.
The pub choose none and to put the blame on the customer and then instead of writing apologising and saying we could and should have done better. That telling you £8 is not a big deal, you decide to allege poor behaviour and shouting from your customer, which I have a dozen people to refute should it...
Read moreSunday dinner was a disaster. Booked a table for 3 for 1530 at midday. Asked if they did vegetarian Sunday lunch which I was told was nut roast. I asked if the did vegetarian gravy, they said yes so i preceded with my booking. In fact I asked do I need to book or just turn up but the lady on the phone told me to book as Sunday is a busy day. Arrived and ordered drinks and was seated (surprisingly not on the table displaying my name?). Upon ordering we were told there was no nut roast left and was told I should have booked one??? They said they could do extra veg for me. All 3 dinners were freezing cold on arrival and no veggie gravy was supplied. Complaining vociferously we all sent out dinners back to be heated up. My Brussels were like hard cold, uncooked bullets. They returned warmish dinners and still no veg gravy. One if the waitresses tried to blame me for their lack of gravy and nut roast once again telling me I should of booked?? Utter shambles and no customer focus. I seen a few others send their dinners back as they to were cold. These crowd seriously up their game. Bad service, bad manners and poor customer etiquette. It's a shame as they've done the pub up nicely. Fur coat and no knickers springs to mind. Gastro...
Read moreI recently visited Three Compasses during the Tottenham vs. Arsenal match, and it was an unexpectedly fantastic experience. Despite not having a table reserved, we were lucky enough to grab one when a reservation didn't go through. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement, especially with families and kids around enjoying the game together.
The food was absolutely delicious and surprisingly affordable. Every dish we tried was cooked to perfection, and the menu offered a great variety of options. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making sure everyone was having a good time.
Overall, Three Compasses provided a memorable and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to watch a game, enjoy delicious food, and soak in a welcoming atmosphere. also...
