Top Taste Caribbean Cuisine — Restaurant in London

So I had a wake for around 30 people coming. the caterer I had before pulled out at short noticeThe day before the wake. I thought let me try top taste as I've Ordered from them many times before and knew the food was good.

I rang up and asked if it would be possible if they could do 30 piece of jerk chicken and rice and peas with jerk sauce. the chef (Andre) said it Was no problem they could do that for me and gave me a decent price.

The next day by 2pm it was ready to pick up, the jerk still hot and fresh and the rice still warm too. Packed nicely and sealed securely

The taste of the chicken was tender and juicy, not overcooked but well done no pink bits. Also th chicken was cut up nicely in threes rice was nicely doneit was also free flowing not clumped up together. the vegan guests loved the rice with the jerk sauce

Once again the portions have been reduced. The boxes are now the smaller variety tupperware and not the paper boxes as before. The jerk chicken and rice are crammed in one box which means you are no longer served 1/2 chicken as before. These are more in line with a 'lunch time' box and more ideal as a quick fast food take away. As if that wasn't bad enough, the majority of jerk chicken pieces were dry like the desert! 😡There was no way that was cooked that same day especially as my order would have been one of the very first orders of the day. The leg piece actually absorbed all the moisture from my mouth. There is no way you could convince me it was fresh on the day!!! Utter shame as this use to be my favourite caribbean for the past 3-4 years but I am very unlikely to reorder as it appears my opinion was shared by my immediate...
