I’ve lived in this area for more than 8 years, and I’ve eat at loads of organisations, And the way myself and my companions were acknowledged was atrocious, the serving at the till on Sunday 13/11/2022 at approximately 2:35 to 2:56 onwards lady on the till didn’t smile or greet us, instead we were met with a horrible looks as what are you doing in here, when observing her interactions with other customer they was not faced with this type of hostility, and non friendly tone, when it was our turn to be served, we stating we are new to this food establishment an just wanted to have a look at the menu an find seating if possible, instead her response was huuuuuh with a confused face, not sorry or excuse me could you repeat this. Just an awkward silence, this for a first time experience was shocking an so uncalled for.
Secondly when finally deciding on what to eat the lady wasn’t helpful at all I asked is there an burger al primo I then was told it’s currently not being sold at the moment I then asked for an egg with the meal I was told they stop doing eggs at this time an wouldn’t be able to add one with my meal this was absolutely ridiculous the hospitality at that point went out the window an I was shocked my parent I am currently with is pregnant and really need to eat, so instead of leaving the establishment I was forced to dine at a place that provided a completely horrible experience, within the west Wickham community.
Lastly I would like to add that we would like to have more vegan an vegetarian options to the menu to help attract a different target audience like the companions I was with in the day.
Maybe some customer service training his need to accommodate nee faces to feel comfortable instead of being met with loos of...
Read moreFROZEN FOOD! Worst pizza that I have ever eaten.
The pizza delivered had an after taste of frozen food. I know it's a cafe however, If you do not have the means to do a meal properly do not do it because you're only letting your potential clients down.p
I've read the reviews before ordering, they were very pleasing although most of them were referring different foods than pizza. I gave it a chance. I wasn't expecting the pizza to be the best, after all you have a wide range of food and I'm sure that pizza isn't the one that gets most interest. But this was beyond what I imagined.
The crust was thick but good, pizza sauce too sweet (lots of sugar) but still, acceptable. The cheese - it was the one that had a frozen food after taste. Don't do that. If you don't have time to prepare such a meal don't do it. I'm very disappointed with you especially after reading so many pleasant reviews.
This is unacceptable. If I want to get frozen/fridge kept food I will go to one of the local stores and pay £3 instead of £10 including delivery.
Shame. I would like to give you a try once again with a different meal, hopefully it will be better...
I sincerely hope that the owner of the restaurant will take this review as a constructive criticism and will improve. That's what we're here...
Read moreI hate giving a two star rating to this café, as I really want to support local businesses. However, we went there twice for drinks and snacks and we were highly disappointed. The wine was of poor quality and the aperol spritz wasn't well made and was over priced. The shared board was of very poor quality too: the mozzarella was tasteless and of plasticy-consistency, and the bread and salumi were heavy and not tasty at all. Foods and drinks are marketed as authentic Italians but I can tell they are not. When we went the first time and it was busy, table service was very slow. Covid wise, a member of staff didn't wear her mask properly (only half covering her mouth), you need to order at the counter as opposed to the table, and there wasn't hand sanitiser around to be seen at all. On the plus side, tables were cleaned regularly and sufficiently spaced out; and there is an outdoor area at the back . We didn't try coffe or sweets, which they seem inviting. Unfortunately I am unlikely to go back, which is a shame given there are not many Italian...
