Going to update this.
Five stars for the food, two for the ambience. Makes this an even three.
Tried going in here for a meal, but unfortunately the bloke's missus had some turkish drama blaring so loud on her phone sat on a counter right next to my partner's earhole that we could barely hear each other. And the two of them seemed genuinely surprised when we said thanks but no thanks, we would rather not.
Pro tip, pal: you are in the hospitality business. i do not want to listen to a bunch of people literally screaming in my ear in a language i do not understand while i am thinking about spending my money in your establishment. at best, just have no audio at all. your customers can talk and hear each other without impediment. at worst, if you MUST have some kind of background noise, well, at least keep the local colour with whatever it is you feel paying customers are going to have to listen to at a low volume.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Nice enough geezer. Avoided going in to a lot of the places on this road due to surly attitude of the lot working in many of them but this chap is decent. Not too expensive, they will make the food right before your eyes. Cash only as it's a small establishment...
Read moreI came across this place by chance, I passed it a few times and noticed that it always had a stream of people. From the outside it may not look like much but don't let that deceive you.
The fact that they have a traditional full size oven tells you about the quality. They have fresh dough, kneaded individually for each order. The toppings/filling is fresh and tastes amazing. I love the fresh Lahmacun it is amazing and it has a homemade vibe about it. They also have a vegetarian option of Lahmacun and doesn't disappoint.
Due to the freshness and expert baking, each and every time the end result is perfect! Moist and juicy topping with a perfect base, just writing this is giving me the urge to visit them.
The staff are very friendly and human, unlike what you might find in...
Read moreI had the absolute pleasure of dining at this incredible Turkish pizza restaurant, and I have to say, it was one of the best food experiences I've ever had! I ordered the lahmacun and lentil soup, and both dishes were out of this world. The lahmacun was perfectly crispy, with a savory topping that was flavorful and fresh, while the lentil soup was rich, hearty, and absolutely delicious.
The attention to detail in every bite made it clear that the chefs here are passionate about their craft. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to enjoy an authentic Turkish meal.
If you're in the mood for some truly exceptional food, I highly recommend giving this place a visit. I'll definitely be coming...
