Wasabi Sushi & Bento — Restaurant in London

I cannot believe how downhill Wasabi has gone.

First of all, when I placed my order with Wasabi on Just Eat, Wasabi cancelled my order. When I called them to ask why they did this, the lady who answered said that she cancelled my order because they ran out of one of the items. Why couldn't they have just called/messaged me so that I could order something else instead of cancelling the entire order?

Then, when I received my order, I found that the food was a lot less. I got the Chicken Katsu Curry dish; the chicken was around half its usual size and the rice and sauce looked like a shell of its former self.

It's sad to see that a business that was once great is turning into a money grabbing operation with incompetent staff running it.

Update: (2 months later) I have still not received a response from Wasabi despite me reaching out to them as per their request. Nice to know how much they don't care about their customers...

Second Update: Wasabi did not reply to me (even though they stated they did in their comment underneath this post), I just double checked my inbox and there is no email from them at all. They really don't care about their customers they only care about...

Today at 13:40 I purchased 2 chicken katsu sets and sushi. The food as always was nice, I am just disappointed with the service.

Me and my brother were served by dark haired lady. When I asked for 2x chicken katsu bowls she asked me to go and get it. I asked for ginger. She’s asked if I wanted chopsticks and I said yes. When I reached Hyde park to eat, I had one spoon, one fork and 2 knives to eat my katsu and sushi with with my brother. There was also no ginger, despite asking her again at the end of transaction; she replied “it’s already there”. Well, it wasn’t there.

If that wasn’t enough she placed my sushi sideways in the bag, I immediately asked her to put it flat on top of the katsu. She said “it won’t fit”, well… it did in the end.

So overall, a very negative experience. I understand people have their issues in their lives, but don’t bring it to work. Don’t insist on being right where in fact your are not. Being humble and attentive is vital in...
