Today, I waked into this place using crutches after not having been there for 2 years. This is due this one particular RUDE MALE WAITER/MANAGER (who has been there for a few years or so, at least). I will explain further: A couple years ago, when i was badly DISABLED and in a WHEELCHAIR, i attended the restaurant a few times with my other half. Each time, this RUDE MAN was patronising, overbearing and unwelcoming, but friendly to some of the other customers. At one time, he proceeded to wheel me to the table, without checking if i or my husband was ok with it, then patronisingly asked if i could put my breaks on, making sure i did so, before he left. (He wasn't genuinely trying to help at all, but bypass us each time).

After the third time of being made to feel like an incompetent child, I vowed I would never go in there again. I didn't complain to anybody, after all, they served lovely food.

TODAY, after a 2 years, we thought we would try them again. We went in, i walked in using my crutches. I went to sit down with my other half, and the same rude man (i recognised him) was definitely unfriendly as he served our food, yet he was welcoming to some of the other customers that were sat down (same as before).

After we finished eating, using my crutches, I proceeded carefully toward the toilet. Just outside the toilet area my crutch slipped twice on what felt like a greasy floor. I had to hold onto the doors etc so i would not slip and slide walking into toilet. When i finished, i went over to the rude man told him that the floor was extremely slippery, that my crutch slipped, and i could have fallen. He could see i was on crutches. He said that there was a sign saying "wet floor" as he had just mopped it (which he hadn't, as i was there for around 30 minutes and did not see him do it). I told him firmly, that i could see the sign, but i could tell the difference between a slippery floor, due to it being wet, and a slippery floor due to grease. He then dismissed me with a "thank you" to get rid of me, turned his head away, and continued his work. No apology, no attempt to see what the problem was. It may or may not have been grease, but It was potentially dangerous.

This man's customer service is awful. (He needs to leave, but I have a feeling he owns the place or manages it.) Maybe my disability makes him uncomfortable. But I won't go there while he is working there. AND it is still CASH ONLY, payments, annoyingly!!! Shame, as years ago, I would have said it was the best...

I put this at five ratings because I know more people are gonna see this Review.....however.

This restaurant is absolutely Disgusting If you eat in this place you’re taking a serious risk for your health ....

I’ve heard loads of stories about this.. and I had stopped eating at this restaurant for a long time because I felt that something is wrong but today is the day I knew I was right 😫😭

These people are disgusting they use stale chicken and put it in chlorine and re-cook it and serve it back to you as if it’s fresh.

At 8.30pm 21st October 2018 I bought vegetable chow mein noodle, King prawn fried, rice fried chicken balls and vegetable spring rolls I ate very little portion of all of the dishes due to me feeling unwell but still I had finished mmajority and left 2 chicken balls and wanted to give my dog a little bit To my surprise ... my dog was just about to eat the fried chicken ball and I said to her no princess wait just as she was going eat it I caught a big Maggot alive crawling out from the chicken fried ball

There is truly something off about this Chinese restaurant and still in shock

When I asked for my money back with my receipt the man refused to give it to me with the receipt. I’m not making this up... I have a video and pictures to prove it WOO LOT Chinese NEEDS TO BE CLOSED DOWN

Call environmental health ASAP 🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮

no more STREET FOOD...

We ordered food from Woo Lot this evening for delivery over £20 worth. The Special house curry was nice but eating the dry spare ribs we discovered that it wasn’t cooked properly. The joint was raw and pink. So decided to phone them to let them know. I was shocked at the response. A man answered and said, ‘next time when you order spare ribs, ask for it to be cooked properly’. I said to him that I shouldn’t have to say that, because I’ve ordered food from them before and it was fine but today’s wasn’t properly cooked. He further said, there’re very busy and there was nothing he could do. I said you need to deliver a properly cooked portion of same thing. He replied and said if I didn’t like it, I should bring it back to the restaurant and they’ll change it or I should buy food somewhere else if I didn’t like the food.

I called again to speak with someone and this time a woman answered and said the same thing but she did apologise and said I should bring it back. My answer to that was if I was able to come out I would have had the food picked up and not ordered for delivery. I was really surprised at their answer and behaviour. It’s a shame that in London Community a business like Woo Lot has ZERO public relations. I may be one customer but they have lost my custom. See...

I have been a customer for over 25 years. Today is the last time, I cannot ignore how bad it has become. I have recently had Singapore fried vermicelli which was way too salty to eat. So bad that it was thrown away. A few weeks ago I asked for this dish & was the cashier tried to pull a fast one & charge me 50p extra if I wanted egg with it! The dish should contain egg as standard. I have noticed over the years the noodles are containing less & less vegetables & is now mostly noodles. Today I ordered noodles with bean sprouts & onion (117) I got just noodles. I also got the spring onion, ginger & chilli (126a) it was the worst I’ve ever had, huge chunks, a really lazy slap dash version that is inedible. This should be finely chopped. Needless to say I will not be coming back. It’s like gambling, you never know what to expect, quality is inconsistent.

Ordered Szechuan prawn, sweet and sour chicken, egg fried rice and spring rolls. The Szechuan prawn had way too much breading on the prawns and not enough chili. I wasn’t expecting any breading (it should be called fried Szechuan prawn or something!) since when I’ve had it before at other places it didn’t. I peeled it all off and it took up 50% of the container! Each prawn was 1/3rd the size once removing the coating, the texture of which was extremely sticky and soggy. The rice and sweet and sour chicken were maybe bit better than average? Spring rolls and chips were not better than frozen. Could be an issue due to it being takeaway but I wouldn’t be keen to go back anytime soon.
