I recently had the pleasure of dining at Za’ta Baker Street, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with the warm, inviting ambiance that perfectly captures the essence of Lebanon. The decor is a beautiful blend of modern elegance and traditional charm, creating a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere.
The menu is a celebration of authentic Lebanese cuisine, offering a delightful array of flavors that transport you straight to the heart of the Middle East. Every dish is meticulously prepared, from the fresh, vibrant salads like tabbouleh and fattoush, to the rich, aromatic mains such as beef kofta and chicken wrap. The hummus is the best I’ve ever had—creamy, smooth, and bursting with flavor, while the falafel is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, perfectly seasoned.
What truly sets Za’ta apart is their commitment to quality and authenticity. The ingredients are clearly fresh, and the spices are perfectly balanced, allowing each dish to shine. The portions are generous, and everything is served with a smile, making you feel like a cherished guest rather than just another customer.
The service was impeccable—attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. Our server took the time to explain the menu and make thoughtful recommendations, ensuring we enjoyed every aspect of our meal.
To top it all off, the dessert was simply divine. The baklava was flaky, sweet, and nutty—an absolute must-try. Paired with a cup of strong Lebanese coffee, it was the perfect end to a perfect meal.
In short, Za’ta is a gem of a restaurant that offers an authentic taste of Lebanon in a warm, welcoming setting. Whether you’re a fan of Lebanese cuisine or new to it, this restaurant is sure to impress. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their...
Read moreI am really disappointed with the staff and food in this restaurant. I was first recommend by a friend that is Zata restaurant does amazing vegaterian food, the food when I received it was shocking. I ordered my food from an app for collection, when I arrived there the restaurant was closed and a staff member was inside the restaurant. He saw me and I had to wait outside for 20mins. He finally opened the door and with such a bad attitude, looking and acting like he didn't want to be there. I got my food very quickly because I felt really unwelcome there and I went home to eat my meal. The food was extremely dry and tastless. I found it expensive for the food I received. So disappointed and the customer service was shocking. I will never be buying from there again and I woild t...
Read moreThe food at Za’ta is the kind of thing you’d like to eat at home, if only you had the time to cook it! It’s both delicious and healthy, with lots of ingredients that you know are really good for you, like lentils and crisp salad vegetables. This is a fabulous Lebanese version of Prêt, but with a lot more proper hot food. I would love to be able to get my lunch from here while out at work, so I hope Za’ta will really catch on and expand in London. Their Baker Street restaurant is stylish and super clean, and a nice comfortable place to meet friends or for an informal business meeting. The service is always extremely friendly and efficient. I highly...
