The Sports Cafe at Centerparcs Longleat is great! When we first arrived at Centerparcs we went there for a spot of lunch. We had the Freshly Grated Cheese and Tomato Sandwich - Freshly grated cheese and tomato sandwich with apple and ale chutney (£6.99) and the Tuna and Cucumber Sandwich 6.99. All sandwiches are made fresh to order and you can choice if you want white or brown thick-cut bread and all sandwiches are served with crisps and coleslaw. We added a portion of chips with both sandwiches for an extra £1.99. We also had the Sports Café Loaded Fries with crispy bacon, crispy onion, cheese sauce and melted cheese (£6.99). On our first night at Centerparcs we also headed down to the Sports Bar to watch the football game. There are several big screens but also smaller individual screens at most tables which is really cool. They have a great selection of drinks and whilst watching the football I even had a scoop of Kelly’s Cornish Ice Cream - Honeycomb Caramel Swirl Flavour (£2.99). The Sports Cafe is brilliant!

If you fancy a quick bite, just a coffee, or a session during the game, this is the place to visit. There must have been 100 screens about the place playing almost every sport you can think of. Rugby and Cricket were mainly being shown and a little bit of football too. Either way, you can enjoy your munch and drinks at the big screen arena, (60' TV at least) or sit at a table and enjoy a more selective viewing, or even hide away in a private boothe and watch in complete comfort. I won't lie, it's not a quiet place by any stretch of the imagination, but there is plenty of outside seating where volume levels are a lot lower. The bar sits on the edge of the lake and is connected to the Sports Plaza. There is also a restaurant nearby and of course the Spa. There is also a very nice lawned area outside to relax on and enjoy by the lake.

First time we have eaten here in the 3 years of coming to Centerparcs. Two children and two adults at lunch time and it was easy to find a empty table. Staff were quick to accommodate us and take orders etc. Service was quick and friendly Atmosphere is nice. I'm not a sports person but there are plenty of screens playing various matches of rugby, red bull racing planes etc. I could imagine that it would be a great atmosphere. Food was quick and very nice. I only had a broccoli cheddar soup which was very tasty. Cheap also. Most meals were average to slightly high in price. The kids meals look decent. Drinks are expensive. Lemmonade and line is just over £3. Hot chocolate over £4 each.

We came in on the Thursday evening for a drink at about nine ish. There was a big queue at the bar so we ordered drinks from our table (it said there would be a 20 minute wait). So we sat and chatted and the queue at the bar disappeared, twenty five minutes later …. No drinks but no queue at the bar. Two staff serving two people and one lady cleaning glasses. I went to the toilet and noticed a tray with our drinks on the end of the bar so I thought by the time I came back, they would be on our table. Five minutes later I came back past the bar and the drinks were still on the end , on the tray . I went back to our table to check (just in case I was mistaken that they weren’t our drinks, but, No drinks) I went up to the bar where now there was no queue and no one being served. I said to the lady who was cleaning glasses, “can I take these drinks please? They’re ours Table 24. We’ve been waiting half an hour and they have been in the end of this bar for ten minutes “ She just shrugged . What’s that all about???? Rubbish service and no accountability. Three people behind the bar, no customers, but you can’t be bothered to bring my drinks to my table that I ordered half an hour ago? No apology either. Usually it’s fine. I was very...

Yesterday we went in the sports cafe for a little snack and got the loaded chips, they were very good but got cold very quickly. If you go there at night and go just outside you may be able to see some baby bunny's!However today we were looking to watch the women's final because they have so many tv's in the cafe that show sports. We went in and saw no tvs showing the women's final 3 mins before the game would start. So we said to one of the people who controlled the tvs and asked I'd they could put the football on.She when behind the bar and asked he manager if she could and here was the response;"we don't show women's games here".So we had to rush back to our cabin to watch it.I think centre parks needs to have a deep dive into the mangers in the sports cafe as this is very sexist and will definitely stop me and a bunch of other people from...
