Chopstix Noodle Bar — Restaurant in Maidstone

I was going to Maidstone mall for the first time on 10/03/2022. It was my birthday on that day. Was roaming around the city centre with my husband. In lunch time, I was looking for a budget friendly restaurant as because we had already a dinner plan with my friends in the evening. We went to the mall, seen the chopstix and was look at the menu. When I see there is a lunch box where you can order either noodles or fried rice with any kind of chicken in just £5. I have seen some roasted kind of potatoes as well. I didn't want to eat heavy lunch therefore I asked the waiter can I get potatoes instead of rice with chicken? I was just asking. I wasn't demanded. Just asking normally. The waiter was so rude. He was telling me don't you see the board properly? Is there anywhere mentioned that potatoes with chicken? He was telling those lines so annoyingly and rudely and given an expressions like he is getting irritated by my question. I feel so bad because I was just asking normally. If he cannot give then he should tell politely. I was also working in hospitality for few years. He doesn't know what is customer service. Doesn't know how to talk to the customers. His behaviour was so bad. I don't know how the manager hired this kind of unprofessional and zero customer service skills workers. Will never...

First visit here, I'm not big on noodles but my friend convinced me I want to say there's not much price difference in a small and large (only 2 options) or noodles/rice plus 1 topping compared to the same but with 2 toppings. Either way I'd go with the 2 just for value for money. Overall the whole experience was pleasant if you like eating out of a cardboard box using a plastic fork. The service was a little slow maybe it was lunchtime as we sat to eat the shop did get busy so can image a little wait in the queue during busy periods will happen but if it's fast food your after go next door to KFC or McDonald's.

Definitely think this place was value for money in comparison to other food places I believe I had 2 toppings with noodles and a cold drink for under £10. When looking at the take away container I thought I might end up feeling hungry after but I was full.

A personal favourite, would have got a 5 star from me if it wasn't for the service I got when I was last in there!! Good portions, when I first started coming here I was able to sample bits of food! The lad would always chuck in little bits of Extras! They have a tip box at the side that I always put 3 quid or more in after I've eaten,

Goes in with my other half when I was last there! Two woman on this time! Ordered 2 large boxes for me and my partner, fancied some spring rolls but they only done mini ones in a pack of 5! 2 of us stood there, you could imagine that with the time and money I give this place! Youd think we got 6, pathetic I know but I said "5 in there and 2 of us with a cheeky grin" ooohhhh No No No sorry we can't give you an extra one sorry sorry 🙄 what!!??
