Nando’s is never the same by delivery. I’m sure most people would agree we’ve waited long for Nando’s restaurants to open back up for the dine in experience.
Worst money ever spent.
My sister, boyrfriend and myself headed out to Nando’s Maidstone the other day to celebrate my sisters recent birthday. Upon arrival we could see there was some tables free outside. We went inside to ask for a table for three anyway, we were actually told to come back in half an hour to 45 minutes. This was fine for us, we didn’t mind coming back. After that time had passed we entered again to ask for a table of three. We were told again to come back in 45 minutes so I said I’ve already done that. Apparently the first time I entered my name should have been taken, it never was. By this point I was getting frustrated because the same staff had met us at reception both times and clearly recognised us. Maybe they just tell people to come back in the hope they don’t return.
They managed to sit us on one of the tables outside with no umbrella to eat our Nando’s in the rain, we wasn’t happy but we had already waited a long time and was hungry. We just grabbed a quick meal and quickly finished it.
We said to the staff we are happy to order more as long as we can sit inside. As if a miracle had happened we were moved inside and taken upstairs where only one other party was sitting, so they had lots of free tables all along and just lied to us. Anyway we sat down and ordered again, which our drinks order was completely wrong. We’d already given up hope by that point to complain.

Read moreI have to give 1 star as zero or negative is not available.. reason I went to get half chicken in the counter, the person standing behind till said this is the last half chicken left , so no more chicken orders after this to the person who was taking order and I was told waiting time of 3-5 min.. The manager came near me after 3-4 min saying no more half chicken left , he can give other options or can wait 25 minutes, he will give full chicken. I realized the chicken I chose had gone to some other customer now and I preferred to wait without complaining.. I waited 30 mins and asked one of the waiter, he checked n came back and said Chicken has come out from oven n in the grill , it should be with me in 1 min, I saw it is in the grill.. in a moment it was served to another customer infront of me!! Then another one!! And another one!! They simply didn't care I am waiting for more than 30 mins.. All these customers arrived long after I had arrived!!
Is it racism I don't know! Is it lack of professionalism.. for sure yes.. when I made gesture that I am not happy they quickly wrap up half chicken n gave it to me after 40 mins , then I asked if the manager have informed if I am getting full chicken, manager intervened and gave full chicken ! And icing on top is the manager said "This is the best he could do' I would say Nandos have to seriously think about the behavior and ignorance it's staffs possess in maidstone branch.. if this is the best service...
Read moreI have been a fairly regular customer for years at Maidstone Nando’s so I’m extremely upset that I’m having to leave a 1 star review. The Beanie wrap that I received via delivery today had chicken mixed in with the beanie mixture. I’m obviously very upset by this as I’ve been a vegetarian for 5 years. This is a massive cross contamination issue and I worry that some of the staff there might be careless when it comes to cross contamination which is a huge issue for people with allergies. This has never happened to me before so I was completely surprised by this. I obviously won’t be visiting the restaurant again and would like to know that something will be done in regards to an investigation as to how on earth this happened. This wasn’t simply a mistake in doing the wrong order or labelling it wrong because the chicken was with the other parts of the Beanie wrap.
