All around Amazing place !!!! it was a Saturday evening and no one wanted to cook Or go pick up takeout, so we decided to try Maki for our first time and for once all 5 of us were happy with our order ! My nephew and I had the smash burger which was one of the best cheeseburgers I have ever had and I am from the USA saying that! The others had fish & chips and reported that it was the best they have had in the Maldon area in the 20 plus years of living here ! I also tried the buffalo wings and those too were delicious & loaded with meat on them ! Extra bonus was that The delivery came very fast as well and on top of it our driver was a very nice guy.( by the way don’t forget to tip your drivers ) This place seems to be on their game with their prompt service , high quality food and we all were very pleased so it’s our new favorite take out / delivery spot in town ! Two visits, two reviews. Possibly the nicest fish and chips that I can remember. I ordered 2 large cod and 1 large chips. The large cod was indeed large, the batter excellent and not at all greasy. I liked that the skin was removed from the fish before frying and the fish itself was fresh. The chips non greasy and tasty. Cost wise pretty expensive possibly £2-£4 over what I would expect to pay. Service was polite and waiting time reasonable for freshly cooked food. The premises are spotless and the menu selection varied including burgers,kebab's etc. Following my previous review a few thing have changed and I have altered my rating. I ordered cod,rock and large chips. The food was excellent but the large cod was a medium elsewhere and nowhere near the size I previously had,the large chips was a similar story.
