I have visited the McDonald's establishment at Malvern Retail Park twice this week, once for breakfast on Wednesday and again this evening for dinner. On both occasions, the level of hospitality extended by the staff left much to be desired, making us feel rather inconvenienced. During both visits, I encountered a prolonged wait for service (15+ minutes wait each visit) without any explanation from the staff. After eventually placing my order, I specifically requested that both burgers be prepared without any additional toppings, due to my son's severe allergic reaction to onions. Regrettably, despite my clear instructions, the order was disregarded, resulting in the burgers being filled with onions and other unwanted ingredients. Consequently, the entire order had to be discarded. In this day and age, not only have McDonald's prices experienced a considerable increase, but the quality of service and the professionalism of the staff have noticeably deteriorated. It was disappointing to observe a lack of adherence to basic hygiene protocols, such as staff members not wearing hairnets. Additionally, the restaurant seemed to have an excessive number of idle employees, contributing to longer waiting times for food, all while the cost of dining there has risen significantly. Read moreIf you go here, walk past the touch screens, wait in the queue and then order over the counter in the old-fashioned way. The Point Of Sale (POS) System here needs a radical overhaul and lost a bunch of touchscreen and app orders. The customer-facing screen that is supposed to say what the queue of orders looks like just throws up a continuous stream of exceptions. When I went there this evening with my wife and two children, I couldn't get a printout of my order from the touchscreen. Eventually found out that our order 54 (the order number only very briefly appearing on the touchscreen) had been "lost" and they couldn't find our receipt. The staff had seen us wait a long time for our food though. Fortunately I was able to connect to my mobile banking app that showed how much I had paid them. I feel really sorry for the staff who find themselves working there. I ended up repeating my order from memory which was then written down on a bit of scrap paper - only to find out they were out of the Balsamic Dressing and Carrot Sticks which we had paid for! The food, subsequently ordered, appeared really quickly. I subsequently overheard someone saying that orders 60 to 80 were lost too. Read moreABSOLUTELY Disgusting! Never ever written a review in the Uk. But today on Tuesday 20/5/25 at 5.20pm. called the store after a terrible disgusting experience with the New Franks red hot product. I bit into the product and it squirted hot liquid on my arm and in my car.
When I called the store a female said.
"That's the way they are made!!"
WHAT ARE THEY ON ABOUT.... MCDONALD'S PRODUCTS ARE DESIGNED TO BURST AND SQUIRT OUT HOT LIQUID.
Then she put me on wait without any explanation and passed the phone to a manger.
Who gave me all the spiel about this issue not being known about, blah blah blah.. not in their products In their store... Blah blah
But then I reminded him that the female said that's they way they are made. So if it's not a known issue them how earth would that lady know it was an issue! And say " that's the way they are made!
Really horrible hygiene and food safety protocol followed by the manager. I told him the item and recipit was in my bin, he never requested the item as he should have done and also replaced my item with the receipt from my bin.
