7 of us went 2 days ago and we are still suffering from the aftermath of this food if that's what it needs to be called. We ordered a few different dishes and all of them were as equally disgusting. The agda was a fine of old slightly burnt and mashed meat looked like it was puked up by a drunk after a dodgy kebab, the moussaka was overly cooked the mince was like eating gravel and the few aubergines were cut so thin and limp it was barely there. The potato "curry" was just a couple pieces of potato is a turmeric broth. The chicken and lamb mandi oh please don't insult a dish by serving this rubbish. The half a chicken was so small so bland and literally a piece of chicken boiled in unseasoned water and plopped on a bed of old stale rice. The lamb was essentially a fatty mess with no substance. The shuwa was old looking chunks of meat again on the stale rice. The staff are abysmal don't understand a word of English and even the few words of Arabic I could say maybe pronounced wrong they couldn't answer. We asked for some lemon it went over there head and when asked what a dish was they responded with the name of the dish but not explaining what it is.

My family we all ended up with very bad stomach pains and having the runs.

At £70 for the food we feel that we were ripped off and all the food shouldn't have cost half of what we're were charged.

I have been to this place in the past and the food and service had been fine, but it seems since it's had new management it's just become so crap.

Finally what also annoyed me was when speaking to the wait staff or trying to the chef would stick his head out of the kitchen and start screaming at the waiting staff and then say something to me which I could only look at his face blankly.

I shall never go there again.

Oh and another thing surprise surprise when it came to pay the bill the card machine suddenly doesn't work. I've worked in retail my whole adult life and card machine failures are akin to finding a pot of gold at the bottom of a rainbow.

This place should not be open it's a joke and an insult to any...

The restaurant looks very authentic, with the Middle Eastern way of seating. Food was cheaper than other places, which is what i felt, but the service was quite poor to my expectation.

I had gone with my parents who could not sit down on the floor, which is the main speciality of the place, but since the table was not available for all, my parents sat on the small table while rest of the family on the floor seating.

We asked the staff once the larger table was empty, and we would prefer to sit on the table as we could be together as a family, but this was not taken well by the staff as was noded and no reply given confirming it.

Now, while placing the order, the waitress told us grill would take time while mandi would bw available in 15 mins hence we opted for that and told the grill csn come while we eat other stuff and this was around 2.15-2.20.

We did not hear back till 2.45, and on checking with the waitress, she said i have no idea why the food status is. Let me go and check, and after that, it took another 15 mins to get our food.

Mandi was good But the grill was not great, was charred, and not well cooked. Almost at the end, we ordered a dessert and went to pay the bill and was told they could not accept card due to some issue and wanted cash even pointed out to an ATM, since i am from Ireland withdrawal charge would be crazy (my assumption), i told i cannot withdraw after few minutes she got the card machine.

Now we waited another 20 mins for the dessert to.come by then its like 30 mins and so we asked for a takeaway as the kids were tired, finally when we got the takeaway we were told that the dessert was not charged in the initial bill which was surprising as i had paid the bill 10 mins after placing the order for the dessert.

Overall, a 2.75/5 ambience and some food is recommended while service and time for food aint the best thing. It's not a fine dine, so dont expect that. Easy on the pocket and gives you some...

If you are looking for generous portions and authentic food with reasonable prices this place is perfect. We were recommended this place by some friends and it was our fiest time here. We chose to sit on the floor, although there is tables available. There is no descriptions on the menu so you have to go off the pictures. Our server Abdul Rehman was friendly and great at explaining what some of the dishes were to us. We arrived before the dinner rush and the chef personally came and explained the differences in the 3 types of rice dishes. We were given complimentary lamb soup, which was piping hot and delicious. By the time we left the place was packed out and very busy but they still took the time to make fresh kunafa for us. I'm not normally the biggest fan of this desert in honesty, but this was the best one I've tried so far, crispy, buttery and not too sweet. The arabic bread was freshly baked and so moreish, perfect with the tabbouleh and hummus. Lamb Mandi and Chicken Zurbian rice was on point with plenty left...
