Dixy Chicken - Fallowfield — Restaurant in Manchester

Absolutely pathetic. I have been to this restaurant a few times and it continues to get worse. Every time I go, my order is either incomplete or is given to me with no care in the world about presentation or flavour.

The chicken is bland and dry and the same goes for the chips. There seems to be a lack of attention to presentation and detail. My food is always either undercooked or overcooked and always lacks any form if flavour or juice. The taste is missing from nearly every item. It seems like all they do is throw a peice of chicken in the cooking oil and then leave it. It would not kill them to add something extra to their dishes. There us also always some thing missing from my order. For example if I ask for a completely plain cheeseburger, I will still get toppings. It is almost like someone changes my order as it goes from person to person, it is farcical.

When there is a high amount of customers the pressure clearly becomes to high for them as all of my orders become incomplete. Even when it is quite my orders continue to be lackluster in contents.

The establishment itself is in dire need of an upgrade. It seems to never be cleaned or even given any TLC. The lights are far to bright and the Grime across the tables and counter is shocking.

Finally, the staff. They are the most lazy and tired people I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. For example, If I was to order a pizza or a peice of grilled chicken they would pull a face and tell me that it would take too long.

In short, this is simply the worst takeaway I have ever been to. The food,establishment and staff are all horrible and are all in need of a monumental change. If I was able to rate zero stars I would have done.

Went in here on a sweltering Saturday afternoon with my fiancée and it was a real mistake! I ordered the Mexican Mega Box meal which was so tasteless, it didn’t taste fresh at all and didn’t have anything indicating that it was Mexican at all. And certainly didn’t make me feel better the morning after. My fiancée ordered a ‘Deluxe wrap’ (I can’t remember the full name of this product) which was another of many things wrong with this place. The wrap was certainly not deluxe, with a sad portion of chicken and hash browns in the wrap, added with cheese we CLEARLY stated to the server we didn’t want in there. Speaking of the server, I seriously recommend to this store that they sack her, because she was rude, ignorant and clearly unable to take simple requests. I firstly asked for no cheese on the wrap, to which she nodded but continued to speak another language to another customer right in front of me, blatantly ignoring me. To add to this, she has 2 air pods in which I thought was very rude, and obviously needed to be taken out as she didn’t get the order right. She was also weirdly soaking wet, which should have been our first sign to walk straight out. If we could give a 0* then we absolutely would. It’s obvious that they don’t really want customers here because they’re a bother. I came in and had to wait around to give my order because the girl behind the desk ignored me and just kept bringing and emptying boxes as I was just standing there. She then took my order but kept forgetting it, which is forgivable, but she obviously wasn’t paying attention. The food came & it was ok but one of their staff came in & started shouting and speaking into his phone loudly. I pointed this out but they ignored me & just continued. The girl did the same thing shortly after. The employee then sat down to have his lunch. Nothing wrong with that but he eats with his mouth open and shouts back to the kitchen the whole time. Sitting right in front of me I’m forced watch his partially masticated food spitting out towards me as the rest roiled round in full view. The place is pretty dirty too and it’s not like they’ve got any customers or too busy to clean. Hygiene just doesn’t seem a priority. One of the tabletops is missing & they could’ve replaced but just don’t care. Not particularly nice. It’s obvious that this is their place & I’m just a bother for turning up.
