I have been coming to this park since I was a very small girl, We used to lovingly call it the ",Wreck" It had beautifully manicured lawns & bowling greens. An abundance of sweet smelling roses, amongst many other flowers & lastly, but of most importance to us kids as we got older, a summer house to sit in. It had changed remarkably, but I was very happy to see it is in more use than ever, Either by dog lovers walking their hounds, or local lads playing basketball & students playing football. I'm glad to say there is still a playground for the younger ones. & Was very pleased to attend anl event organised by a local Art group, with music, a variety of stalls & an array of activities.
