Never go to this place the staff are rude and they are thief’s Came in to get some food when I ordered the cashiers told me I had to take out I couldn’t eat in even though others were sat waiting for food, I ordered anyway it took a while for my food to be done once it was done I checked the food the soup wasn’t even half way in this tiny foil container I then asked to speak to a manager which the cashiers didn’t get then I complained about lack of food which I had already paid for via bank transfer the food in the container was scarce I explained the other customers that were eating in as I originally asked to had decent amount of food they then put the small soup in a small bowl which was still not full or even half way I told the cashier I didn’t ask for the food to be put in bowls I asked for the owner to put more in the take away container they then left me sitting with the food out for 30 mins waiting for a take away the food got cold the cashier then said he can warm the food up all in all never go there it’s horrible service I was shouted at by the cashier for requesting simple service and food that I paid for couldn’t even get a refund because it was via...

First review I’ve ever felt the need to write on a restaurant.

Considering there’s other reviews on portion sizes I thought this would of been rectified.

Really looked forward to coming here as I’ve seen it online recently & im new to Manchester & missed some traditional cooked food. The service was amazing from Anthony at the front desk. Moving onto the food… I understand the starters are ‘finger foods’ or small quantity , however the main courses which we ordered in house and took home. Was diabolical, promised ‘assorted meats’ and I reiterated that I’d like cowleg , tripe and all the rest. There was only tripe and kidney. Small containers and mostly filled with soup,no meat. Ayamashe was in a small circle container with a boiled egg and soup. 3 pieces of meat. If you’re after a generous portion of rice only. Go here😊.

This is the WORST African shop. I’ve been to in my life and I would never go there again. The food is a rip-off for the price. when you try and complain to the People about the food they try and say because it’s late ( I order at 8 they don’t close till i think 11 or 12 ) the rice tastes like cardboard I’m shocked this can not be authentic African restaurant more like turtle bay. I asked why the portions are so small, the young boy who answers the phone (who sound like he shouldn’t even answer the phone. Couldn’t even explain anything .
