**Review of Nells Pizza in the Northern Quarter:** Nestled in the vibrant Northern Quarter, Nells Pizza is a hidden gem for pizza aficionados seeking a taste of authentic Italian flavors. From the moment you step inside, the cozy ambiance welcomes you, with the aroma of freshly baked dough and simmering sauces filling the air. Nells Pizza prides itself on using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients, resulting in pizzas that are bursting with flavor and authenticity. Whether you opt for a classic Margherita or venture into more adventurous toppings, each slice is a culinary delight that leaves you craving for more. What truly sets Nells Pizza apart, however, is its exceptional customer service. The staff members are not only knowledgeable about the menu but also passionate about ensuring every customer's experience is memorable. From recommending the perfect wine pairing to accommodating dietary preferences, they go above and beyond to cater to individual needs. Moreover, the efficiency and friendliness of the service contribute to a seamless dining experience, whether you're dining in or ordering for delivery. Nells Pizza understands the importance of hospitality, and it reflects in every interaction, making patrons feel valued and appreciated. In conclusion, Nells Pizza in the Northern Quarter is more than just a pizzeria; it's an experience. With delicious pizzas made with care and served with warmth, coupled with outstanding customer service, it's a must-visit for anyone craving a slice of culinary excellence in Manchester's bustling food scene.

JANUARY 2025 I came here with family to indulge in the January 50% off deal. My Whimsy (mozzarella, smoked Lancashire chese, mushrooms, artichoke) made for an incredibly tasty lunch- and I had a couple of slices left to enjoy all over again for tea the day after! I’d been before but this was everybody else’s first time, and they had nothing but praise to give. My brother said his Smokey Maple BBQ dip was the best he’s ever sampled. Looking forward to my next visit already! AUGUST 2023 My friend and I stopped here for a slice: at about £4 each, it’s not bad for a speedily-served snack. I picked the Burrata- the Stracciatella was a strange but nice cheese! JANUARY 2023 Since Nell’s were offering 50% off in January, I had to give their 22” pizza a try! I went with a friend who shared the vegan Mushroom one with me. We got two dips also- Garlic & Herb Ranch, and Truffle Mayo. Don’t go without them! There are plenty of veggie and vegan choices, and they also do single slices of select flavours. Though staff were accommodating, we weren’t told that you can only order from a QR code so were sat around for a while waiting for a server to come. Oops. I sort of wanted an Ice Cream Sandwich after, but was too full. I definitely want to return as there are other delicious-sounding toppings to try.

Having seen the storefront during the weekend, my wife and I decided to give it a go, so we bought our daughter for an impromptu lunch today, (26.07.2022). We ordered one 22" half and half pizza between us and there's not really a lot I can say about it, aside from quoting my wife, who said, "That was probably the best pizza I have ever had!" This was a proper thin crust, oven baked pizza, and saying it was perfectly cooked is not an exaggeration. The staff were all very professional and friendly, and the price was surprisingly reasonable. To summarise, great pizza at a reasonable price. Stop reading and start eating! Edit (25.07.2023): how is that for a coincidence? My wife and I popped in today, and is completely forgotten about my original review until a message appeared on my phone asking if is like to update my review. Almost a year ago, to the day, we ordered a 22 inch half and half. We also ordered one today. Half Hawaiian, half Original Sausage Material, and they were excellently cooked and delicious. Oh, we also had a starter this time. The Cheesy Garli-B was perfection on a plate. Seriously, if you've never been to this place, go, and if you have been before, go again!

So where to start. Clearly a “trendy place” and if like me you’re now past middle age and wanting a quiet meal, on your own, this is possibly not the place. Why? Well I sat and listened to a young Canadian lady chat to her two mates about how many “boys” they’d recently knocked back, and worse, those they hadn’t! In short privacy whilst eating is not happening so bear this in mind especially if visiting for a family or couples meal! As for the service, really friendly but somewhat confused, my starter (salad) ended up on another table whilst theirs (olives) ended up with me, sorted fairly quickly and apologies from the chap serving. The salad was a good size and had great flavour. For the pizza I ordered the sausage, it came out piping hot and it was a really good size (I struggled) but sadly without the dipping sauce, or my drink, again query raised and resolved quickly and again apologies offered. The pizza to me was less New York style and more European ski resort, don’t get me wrong it was good, but it’s not as crispy as a NY pizza but still had a decent flavour just possibly a little greasy. Overall a reasonable experience, not overly cheap at £30 for a pizza, side salad and a pint but I enjoyed it nonetheless (next time I just need to remember air pods...
