I had a single room, it had plenty of space and the bed was comfortable enough. The only reason for a 4 stars is that they could put a desk on it or some place to sit with the computer besides the bed. Also there was an hanger but no other place to put your stuff, not a nightstand, a desk or anything like that. The windows were very good

Another place for a drink. No doubt fun place for friends and having get together. Pool table, beer garden and nice atmosphere but not for everyone. For me it was bit noisy even i can’t talk to my partner who was sitting next to me. Anyhow good for big groups as they have plenty of space to accommodate.

Awful stay here. Nice staff is the only decent thing about this place and that it looks ok outside.checked in at 2:45pm. Stayed here as we were going to a concert at the o2 apollo to see Avril lavigne for my birthday. The stairs and landing looks to of not seen a hoover in a long time. Got to the room and shared bath room and seriously debated staying in the car. The bed room were dusty, there were all cigarette ash on the window sill. The wooden floor hadn't been swept or mopped in that room felt sticky and bits everehere. There were a pile of brushed out hair below the mirror. Had to put my shoes on when getting out of bed to go to the toilet. The beds kept separating as it were to singles pushed together. Got back about half 12 from concert. Got a drink ended up taking it to the room. Absolutely shattered. There were hardly anyone in down stairs in the bar area. I hardly slept due to the music playing till half 2 am in the morning.our room were right above the bar. Felt the base through the floor and bed, it were so loud. The city noise continued past half 4am in the morning. Cars beeping and general drinkers out. We were right next to the bathroom, it took a bit to close and lock it. So on a night you can hear people banging the door close as well as coming in from there night out. AND the shared bath room were horrid the floor had loose tiles not missing. It were very unclean, the shower which we didn't use. It were all brown in the shower Tray, all up the wall tiles. No hand wash. The bin were over flowing. It were unclean. We had already had a drink down stairs which were (discounted due to staying in a room there). Paid for the 24 hour parking. Would of gone...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Crown and Anchor in the Northern Mill Quarter of Manchester, and I can't stop raving about the experience! The Sunday roast was absolutely phenomenal and exceeded all of my expectations. The atmosphere was fantastic, creating the perfect setting for a delightful meal. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable.

The food itself was exceptional. The beef in the Sunday roast was cooked to perfection and was incredibly flavorful. The portion size was generous, leaving me feeling completely satisfied. The vegetables were fresh and cooked to perfection, adding a delightful burst of color and flavor to the meal.

As for the vegan roast, it was nothing short of amazing. The variety and abundance of vegetables made for a truly delicious and wholesome dish. It's clear that the chefs put a lot of thought and care into creating a vegan option that is not only satisfying but also bursting with flavor.

Overall, I can't recommend Crown and Anchor enough. Whether you're a meat lover or a plant-based eater, this place has something truly special to offer. The Sunday roast and vegan roast both exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to return for another fantastic meal. If you find yourself in Manchester, do yourself a favor and pay...

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I’D GIVE 0 STARS IF I COULD.

You will not be welcome unless you’re a family member, friend or regular.

I was very close to the front of the queue and after queuing for 4 hours, I was then told the place was full as the owners had prioritised family, friends and locals despite telling hundreds of us that we would be guaranteed a place to watch the game.

Instead of telling the hundreds in the queue that there would no be room, they continued to make everybody wait for a laugh which left everyone trying to find a bar to watch the Euros final with one hours notice.

I had contacted the pub three times prior to match day and they assured me that the pub was only open for walk-ins.

A staff member even took a photograph of everybody in the queue at around 3pm and said they they would use the photo to see who had queued and who had pushed in so that the people who had waited would be guaranteed entry.

To add to the above, a young gentlemen in the queue kicked a football on to the roof in sheer anger and frustration which caused a lot of distress and upset for everybody. This was our only source of entertainment whilst waiting for hours. He was also a Manchester...
