Horrible service, no customer service attitude. Long waiting queues but other guests that are finished waiting and making times on the tables, reading, occuping a big table although there are 2...and not consuming anything. They were still there when we left. Then we sat 4 persons on a table for 2 and we wanted to order through the qr code... Everywhere it is announced to order through that system and give our table number. See attached picture. Then we see its not working so we ask the waiter, there are 3 waiters standing and chatting all the time, and then they tell us we have to order at the bar. I go there and ineffective service. I order but their system is not working, so we move to another. Then we wait long time to get our food. Then my vegan burger was not only small, usual for airports, but also cold and not really good. The coffee also cold. The portion of curry is ridiculous but expensive. Well then I ask if there is a manager ad they ask our feedback. He never showed up. Then at the end one of those waiters asks if everything is fine. Obviously not. She asks me if I want to speak to the manager. Then finally Ms. Chloe shows up. She asks me, I tell her all the points. She just excuses and nothing happened. Welcome to great customer service. I think there is much to learn from this example. How it not should work. They could win much more. Happy guests, we are not the only ones, more money for the company, more efficient service, etc etc. Moral: one has to be willing to learn and if really interested in feedback get into action. Read moreWhen ordering our food the app told us 20 minute wait, we waited 30 minutes before only half of our food order came. We could see the other half waiting on the heat counter to be handed out but it wasn’t bought. Myself and my daughter ate our meals whilst my other family members food still did not come although it had been sat ready on the side. After 20 minutes I asked a server to please bring it over as I could see it ready and it had been sat there for over 20 minutes to far. He walked away and didn’t bring it. Another 10 minutes passed and I had finished my meal whilst still the other family members meals did not come and proceeded to sit on the counter. I once again asked a server to bring over the food as it was just sat there and we could not understand why? he came back and said they were bringing it. To mention there was no other food to be bought out to other tables at this point just ours which had been sat there for 30 minutes at this point. Even though we had asked twice and finished our meals my other family members meal still did not come. After 40 minutes and twice of asking my sister went up herself and pointed at the meals and said these are ours we’ve asked twice now for them to come they have been sat here for over 40 minutes! the rest of my family have finished now. They agreed it was there meals and she could have it ?! But only after over 40 minutes of it sitting ready and going cold and asking twice for it to be bought over it took for her to go up to actually get her food! Not a great start to the holiday. Read moreWe had a flight from Manchester with our close friends. We decided to go for dinner to the lion and antelope. There was no tables free for 4 people so we took 2 tables for 2 people each. We said that maybe something will free up later so we can potentially move. After some time, the table next to us freed up and our friends took their drinks with them and sat next to us. We where done with eating at this point so we where just having a drink before we left. A moment later the manager came up and started shouting at us that they (my friends) should have waited in line for the table. I tried to tell him calmly that they were sitting away from us but as the table freed up they sat next to us just till we finished our drinks. He was very rude and continued to raise his voice at us, especially at me as I was doing most of the talking. He wouldn’t listen and just kept getting louder. This is not the way to treat a customer and especially a woman. People in a managerial position should be cultured enough and know how to deal with customers properly and not just shout at them. Maybe he needs some extra training so he is aware that customers shouldn’t be treated like trash and shouted at.
