Archie's at Manchester Airport Terminal 2 is a burger lover's paradise, serving up mouthwatering creations that tantalize the taste buds. I recently indulged in the Superstar (beef) and Chicken Nashville burgers, both of which were bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The Superstar's juicy patty, melted cheese, and signature sauce were a delightful combination, while the Chicken Nashville delivered a satisfying kick of spice.
To complement the burgers, we opted for Archie's Shake and Lotus Shake – a truly heavenly pairing. The milkshakes were thick, creamy, and overflowing with rich flavor. The Archie's Shake was a classic treat, while the Lotus Shake offered a unique and irresistible twist.
Despite the exceptional taste of the food, the service at Archie's could use improvement. We waited over 30 minutes for our burgers, which detracted from the overall experience. While the wait was understandable given the airport's busy atmosphere, faster service would undoubtedly enhance the dining experience.
Nonetheless, the outstanding quality of the food, especially the milkshakes, outweighs the service hiccup. Archie's is a must-visit for anyone craving a delicious and satisfying meal at Manchester Airport Terminal 2. Just be prepared for a potential wait, and your taste buds...
Read moreThis is the first time I have been to Archie's and saw it was a fast food option at the airport which was ideal as we were restricted with time. It took 20 minutes to queue to order, then another 20mins + before my food arrived. Whilst waiting for my food I saw orders building up at the service hatch from the kitchen, but the staff member who had been attending orders was instead sat on the floor, chatting to colleagues whilst slowly stocking up straws out of a box. The cleaner had to then give orders out to waiting customers. Most staff members were visibly miserable and didn't approach customers with a smile or with any questions manners. The bins were overflowing, rubbish left everywhere and milk all up the shake machines. This was all seen from the till area so I'd hate to see what the kitchen is like in all honesty. I'm really disappointed after having such slow, miserable service and seeing how...
Read moreI did see the reviews on here and they looked good . Maybe I am unlucky then or the great British public has lost their taste buds .
I had sausage bacon and hash muffin. Oh dear , what a very unpleasant taste experience . Sausage is chicken , that was the first surprise . In fairness, when I went back to look at menu it does say chicken. Was very tasteless and dry, as was the bacon and the soggy hash brown.
The muffin was hard like a stale one, though my mrs reckons it was just poor quality . I had paid £20 for the two meals so carried on for a bit . Couldn’t keep at the muffin so took the top off and it improved the meal very slightly.
The cup of tea was ok though .
Comparing it to a double sausage and egg McMuffin meal doesn’t really work as an exercise . Despite Archie’s being more expensive, it really isn’t in the same league . They should be embarrassed serving...
