Greggs — Restaurant in Mansfield

Not as good as I was expecting having visited lots of Greggs shops over the years!CASH ONLY no cards!! This is a new build shop on a fairly new business park . Located off the A6117 on Hallamway . Turn first right into business park ,then right again and drive down to the end . Shop is on your right and you can’t go any further. There are two disabled bays here ,plus normal bays for customer parking . There is a double door into shop which open inwards. They are not automatic doors.A wheelchair will fit through one doorway. It’s all flat and level throughout and access to the tables inside is adequate as you can move chairs.This area is for those customers who wish to bide awhile. Not sure if there are customer toilets .We were disappointed with the food tho ,as was not much choice this early in the morning and although three of us had different pasties all were only lukewarm. Only one person on duty and not a lot of preparation going on that we could see . I know it was early but they should have something in place for early customers if you are getting them in at 6am !! Called in yesterday for the 1st time, just as I pulled up, saw 1 of the staff at the door, but didn't think much of it. Got to the door & it was locked, there was four, maybe 5 staff, behind the counter about 5 metres away from the main door. They looked at me & just carried on, so I knocked on the door & one of the staff mouthed closed. I asked how long for & they totally ignored me & was laughing & joking with another team member. So knocked again & another woman just done the hand signal of cut throat (meaning closed). Within the minute or so, of standing there. 4 other customers had arrived. There was no power cut, so there was not really any reasonable excuse...

Absolutely love this Greggs old mill lane my fav, Ladies you no who you are ( all of you) service is bang on quick never have to repeat myself a couple of Gregg's are like that ... I appreciate you remembering me and what I want. The place is clean toilet good music always has all items ready never had to wait. Nice seating area. No reason to complain. You say hello make eye contact customer service in all the Gregg's is bang on to be fair if it was not i'd say it loudly because manners cost nothing. I appreciate these people getting up early staying late to feed us lunch or what ever is something to look forward to and your always there thankyou...
