This is a very beautiful park, 'blighted by drug dealing school kids' and a hotel which which holds weddings where 'bouncers' try to tell you that you can't use the park whilst there is a wedding party going on! This is - a public park, paid for by council tax payers. What is going on here? The hard working, council paid, park keepers are absolutely wonderful; they are very friendly and they do a fantastic job of keeping the park beautiful with very limited resources, with reduced staffing levels and hours. Come on Mansfield council; you managed to pay all that money for an ice rink that no one wanted to use. How about paying to keep Mansfield's loveliest park in tip top condition. Every day the park keepers have to clean up the detritus from the alcohol drinkers, who throw bottles and cans on the ground right...

As a child I remember this Park as a rough place, as an adult with children I know it now as The Polish Park. I am not Racist in any way, although some would disagree, however my opinions are my own and I am entitled to them. I would never return to this Park because of the ignorance of foreigners not speaking English in an English speaking country. There is no excuse for it, Firstly, they know they are entering this Country, Secondly, most actually live here now. The Government is to blame too. After all is said and done, when an English person feels uncomfortable in their own Country, some thing is very...

Carr Bank Park is Mansfield's premier park as far as I'm concerned. It's very popular with dog walkers but also contains a nice play area for children and an area dedicated to Petanque Boules (French Bowls). At the head of the park there is Mansfield Manor Hotel and there are a also a few dedicated war memorials also contained within the park. Certainly worth a visit if you're ever passing through Mansfield on a summers day when all the park is in bloom.

Carrbank memorial park is just that.a tribute to our fallen heroes. Pleasure in the wonderful surroundings and pay your respects. Bring the family. Enjoy the sports facilities. And if youre lucky, a brass colliery band maybe performing on a lazy summer sunday afternoon. This Park is a gem hidden just five minutes from Mansfield town centre . I have so many happy childhood memories in this parke surrounding. start yours too.its never to late !
