Hungrilla Gourmet Grill — Restaurant in Mansfield

If you live near this place. Go try it. You won't be disappointed! Strangely enough my barber told me to go here. He said its a bit like 5 guys but better. I was intrigued... I'm not from the area but made my way and found it easily enough. The store front looks excellent, and when pressed with a decision of this or subway next door on looks alone, I would always choose hungrilla. I entered the shop and on a Wednesday at around 2pm it was quiet and then I had one of the nicest welcomes from behind the counter. It was as if the bloke had known me my whole life and hadn't seen me in years. Made me feel right at home. I told him I'd not been here before, so he took me through menu asked me what my preferences were, told me what the local favourites were and once I'd ordered I just waited at the table in what is a very well done restaurant. Ventured in from out of town found this place searching "Halal food near me". Initial take on the place as I walked was "This will be just another grilled chicken place". Got speaking to the grill master Siobhan and watched as my food got cooked, slowly started to realise this wasn't your average grilled chicken place. They slice the breast fillet so it cooks properly all the way through, not pre boiled like other places. The chicken is grilled from raw & perfectly. I ordered the grilled Peri Chicken burger which comes with seasoned fries. Along with an order of 6 peri wings. The food was banging, perfectly seasoned & flame grilled. The fries were on point & complemented the burger & wings. All in all it cost me just over £15 but was worth every penny! I don't know what they are paying Siobhan but it clearly isn't enough my food was cooked with care and just how I asked for it. Well we ordered for a business lunch and we can say that all the food was amazing. Such a wide variety especially for different dietary requirements. Delivery was a little later than stated around 5 or 10 minutes late, but driver did apologise and state he was new to the area, so understandable. The food still arrived hot so no complaints there. Only a few things to comment on is the price of the extra sauce and then the size of the pot that comes is a little ridiculous, my advice, send bigger pots everyone loves sauce it will not hurt. Also one colleague had what we thought was going to be a super spicy burger, as they picked the spicy chicken, hot sauce, added chilli flakes and jalapeños, and was quite disappointed, it was a lovely burger and very tasty but not as spicy as expected.
