Titchfield Teahouse — Restaurant in Mansfield

Wow! Absolutely delightful, friendly, homely and sociable little place. We loved the mining plates and pictures as we waited for our food. This was THE most wonderful afternoon tea yesterday that was quite simply everything afternoon tea should be. The sandwiches were clearly freshly made; generously filled and the softest bread... cutting the crusts off always makes me smile! The scones were amazing and a good pot of Roddas to go with it. Lovely decorated cakes (which we brought home for later) and well done on the copious supplp of perfectky strength tea! My pet hate with some places for afternoon tea is the stingy supply of tea! We were highly impressed with the whole event and VERY aware of how wonderfully busy the place was. The staff were efficient, friendly and accommodating despite being run ragged with the takeaway queue! Well done ladies. This venue holds a place in my heart since lockdown and did not disappoint for belated Mothers...

It was my first time visiting this teahouse and I booked a table for the afternoon tea for me and my Mum. When we arrived we were shown where our reserved table was, and not long after we had our order taken for our choice of drink and cake. We didn't have to wait long at all for our drinks and food to be served. We both thought there was a great selection of food included in the afternoon tea. Not many places offer this much variety and for the price we thought it was really good value. We even had to ask for a takeaway box for our cakes as we couldn't quite manage it after eating everything else. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and service was excellent. The teahouse itself is nicely decorated with flowers on tables and vibrant wallpaper. We also loved the unique tea pot we had which was in the shape of an elephant. It's my first time here at the Teahouse and I was very pleasantly surprised on entering the dining room to see how beautifully decorated the interior is... The Teahouse is situated at one end of Titchfield Park, which is just 15mins walk from Mansfield town centre, unfortunately I only had time for a quick coffee... I'll make sure I have more time on my next visit... The menus have a great range of foods and drinks, Yes, there's more than one menu to choose from ... The staff are very pleasant and welcoming... The Teahouse is open seven days a week and closes at 4,30pm, I'm unsure of the morning opening times, I'll give this information after my next visit ... There's interior and also exterior seating available... So take a pleasant stroll round the park and then a little bite to eat, what's not to like, especially on a beautiful summer's...
