i had a very bad experience i have taken the time to write and email of complaint. at a kids party they gave 5 years old salt and vinegar and ketchup automatically, without a space of the food chart for allergies.... my daughter is allergic to certain brands of ketchup and we have to be careful with this, also there is no need for 5 years old to be having salt and vinegar. we then got free vouchers for kids to play bowling, so went down one Saturday after speaking to the staff, we got there to be told they were fully booked until 5.30 and had been since Friday night (why hadn't the staff told us about this??) so we left, booked 2 lanes for the next Saturday we were running late so rang them up, to be told that was fine, when we got there we could only have one lane not the two, (could of mentioned this on the phone) we agreed to the one lane after voicing our concerns about the other allegation and now this, and asked which lane to go on we was told any lane, so we went on lane 6. we started playing when the young lad came over and said we were on the wrong lane (we wasn't told which lane to go on) he then went back behind the counter and appeared to be talking to the other members of "staff" and looking and pointing over towards us which i think is very rude. i think the "staff" were treating it as a youth club and just wanted to chat. there was a used plaster on the floor and chewing gum near our lane!! disgusting!! the toilets were also disgusting and you could smell it as soon as you entered the building. will be staying away...

Horrendous experience. Went as a family outing. Lady who served us had an attitude right from the beginning. Had to go away into the back office to speak to manager just to divide the total cost per person which put us on edge as we weren't sure why she simply didn't use a calculator.
Then not long after we started she came over and told us they had seen us on camera vaping and told us to stop, again with an attitude talking to us like naughty children. However none of us smoke or vape so it isn't possible for them to have seen that. From that point on a few of my family noticed this woman staring us down from the desk and not being subtle about it. So the entire time we were made to feel uncomfortable.
Then to make matters worse the bowling system didn't work properly. We counted six times the machine messed up. Either pins were knocked over as they were put down, or the pins were all cleared away and none put down, one time it put half a set down somehow, sometimes it gave us extra goes when it shouldn't have, but without counting points. We got lost as to what was even happening a few times. We called for service at the third error and we were told a manager would be notified but nothing was corrected as it continued happening and to my knowledge nobody ever came back.
So overall we spent over £100 here only to be treated horrendously for no reason, stared at and made to feel uncomfortable and all to try and use faulty bowling equipment. I'll likely never go back and bowl in...
Read moreWe came here for the first time yesterday for my son’s 6th birthday as a group of 10 people including 4 children. We booked in advance online and when we got there, the lanes were already set up for us with everyone’s names already on the system too which saved so much time. It was great that we were able to keep our shoes on as we haven’t been bowling for over 10 years and we had to swap our shoes back then but when we came here we only had to swap shoes depending on the type of shoes we already had on. We all had a brilliant time bowling and the children loved it too. We then let the children have a game of air hockey before we left which they also loved and had great fun with. Staff were friendly and helpful and overall it was a good atmosphere and we had a really good time. I also felt it was reasonably priced per person. Only thing I’d add is it would be helpful if you could put on the confirmation email when booking, a reminder to bring your socks as my sister arrived in sandals thinking they would have socks and this meant she wasn’t allowed to play at...
