Amazing location, friendly/sweet waitresses, ridiculously small menu, all of which expensive, but the real piss-take was the Cornish cheese boards which they advertise £16 each; minimum of 2 people (aka £32 a board) of which you get 4x slice of different cheeses, 5x grapes, and 2-3 slices of paper thin sourdough. In most places you get a ploughman's with more food on it and £10-15!! I cannot believe they thought we would pay £64 for two small boards of cheese?! Anyway, we took one look at them, told the waitress we weren't paying £64 for it and left! Such a shame as amazing place to sit with your family, shame the owners are greedy!!! We have happily paid for expensive afternoon teas at world renowned hotels in the past, but not being taken for a ride!!!

Waited at the sign (pictured) waiting to be seated for 5 minutes + The waiter woman just ignored us when she passed, so we asked her whether it's okay to just sit down somewhere... She said that she'd deal with us in a minute! A guy did then come and sit us down, we asked whether they had any cakes, to which he said yes, and said that he would get a list for us. We were waiting at the table for ages and about to walk out when eventually someone asked whether we'd been served. By this time we'd had enough, so said that we didn't like the look of any of the cakes and went down the road. Reading other reviews, it sounds like the right thing to do. Pity as it is such a nice location.

We’ve been waiting to go to crabby’s for a long time, and my friend and kids has came away from Doncaster to have a break We have been looking forward to go there We was treated different The manager kept looking at us because we are from the gypsy community we spent nearly £400 with them and we were being very pleasant but we was true treated very rude we came back in to use the toilet for my little kid and they said it was close but there was letting people in my little kid only wanted to go to the toilet we never got trapped like human we never did anything wrong to them our manners has been very good very disappointing For my friend has came all the way from Doncaster and his family When we have to deal with people being rude to us getting the same as everyone else we expect to show people kindness and also to get in the return after spending nearly £400 The food was good But the service and a manners and customer service was very, very poor wasn’t as expected to get rude people do you understand that there’s bad people me and my family and my friends has good people, but there’s good in Bad in everybody but we do not respect to get tread the same as everyone else You have to read a book before you judge it doesn’t cost a lot to have...

Don't waste your money in this spot! OK, you might be lured by the views but literally on the side of it there's a public "view point" with benches to truly appreciate the breathtaking scenery. We sat down and looked at the menu, it look good, a bit on the expensive side, but we had the views right? Well.... We ordered the School of prawns (6 prawns, 4 overcooked, 2 OK-ish) served with the most basic sandwich bread covered in butter. Then we had Mussels, they came on a pool of wine sauce but again failed to cook them properly, they were soggy and overcooked and at £19 main plate is absolutely a rip off. And finally we had the lobster (1/2 @£28!!!) well we wanted to treat ourselves while we took on the views, but.... The steamed lobster, came swimming in butter, which I couldn't see as they covered the plate with chips. It was so bad I had to wedge the lemony paper towel sachets under my plate to drain the oily base to a side. It took a fair amount of hours to get rid of the butter taste in my mouth, sadly the lobster taste was missing. I wanted to be specific to what we had, so I cannot comment on any other plates. In my experience, do not waste your money here. Better grab a pastie and sit by the beach front. Is free and the experience...

A great place for drinks however a bit pricey (location!). Avoid the food, grossly overpriced for what it is.

Crabys is trying to be a carefree beach vibe bar. It does it well for just drinks. The staff are friendly, service fairly quick, music good and views amazing. You can’t really go wrong with beers, however, we ordered two of the same cocktails and they were considerably different each time (glass, muddled fruit and garnish) and when you’re paying what Crabys’s is charging you expect consistency. The second cocktail wasn’t bad, it was just not on par with the first and we wouldn’t have ordered the second round.

Food was shockingly overpriced. Charging £18 for a burger can be acceptable if it’s great, these we’re barely okay. Whilst the meat was tasty throwing on two barely melted cheddar squares and slapping it in a bun certainly does not justify the £18 price tag. With the burger you had a choice of sides, I chose the potato salad. It was made with nice potatoes but again, the rest was lacking. Dry and lacking mayonnaise. The most frustrating part about the food is that it could be so good, and used to not too long ago (before the Craby’s rebrand).

Enjoy the view and the atmosphere but avoid the food, stick to drinks, mainly...
