The White Lion Hotel — Restaurant in Melton

Long long waiting times for drinks. Only 2 on the bar on busy night, I'd put that down to bad management as the staff are working hard and are always polite. The DJ spends more time talking over the songs then actually playing them, combined with terrible beat matching to make an audible experience that is almost unbearable. The don't call it the 'white' lion for nothing.

I would also like to add that the response from this organisation is shameful, trying to slander my review with a false accusation. I was not in this weekend, nor have I ever encountered a problem within your establishment. Tried to talk to the owner but he refused....

Visited the White Lion for a bottomless brunch event. The venue was clean, the staff were friendly and the drinks were lovely. The venue was also decorated very nicely for the event and the tunes were banging.

The food given was presented nicely and tasted delish. My only complaint would be that I did not see any cutlery for those who wanted the pulled pork without the bun but not going to knock a star off the review for something as minor as that.

Whether for an event or just hanging out for a pint in the afternoon, I would highly recommend going to...

Called in on Saturday for a quick beverage. It was lovely to see a ramp to access the venue in my wheelchair. However, once in the pub, there was a step to be navigated to buy a drink. Luckily, as there were 3 able-bodied people with me, I still got my drink. We sat outside with my assistance dog Ralph. There was a bowl of water available for dogs to use.
