Visited on a quiet Saturday night, ordered a special curry fried rice. They brought a chicken and mushroom curry. When I queried it i was told by young waitress it had "special ingredients! " I explained was expecting mixed curry,? Was told they would make another but that would have ment eating at different times as other meal a Singapore chow mein was ready. So kept the chicken curry brought to me. Be aware the chicken curry was OK but in my opinion not worth the cost of £9.50 with an extra £6.50 for fried rice on top. Total £16 for curry and rice. Thought rice was £5 which was enough, but was charged for large, when it was just a bowl to go with curry? Prawn crackers were brought as starter small bowl. Singapore chow main was nice and spicy and to top it off also beware a 10.01% service charge is added to bill. Which considering they got the order wrong asked for it to be removed. I will not...
Read moreVisited this New Thai Restaurant in Crediton near Exeter. My husband and I both thought how beautifully decorated and how it really stood out from the other eating establishments, so we decided to go inside to eat. We ordered a variety of starters which included prawn and pork deep fried wontons and spring rolls , both were delicious and we could taste how fresh the ingredients were. For my main I had the beef Panang Curry which includes rice, the beef just melted in my mouth and the flavours of the Curry sauce were astronomical!I was in heaven. Hubby had The Chicken and cashew nuts which he remarked he had never tasted Thai food so lovely. The service was splendid we were given a warm welcome and did not have to wait ages for the dishes to arrive. All in all a beautiful evening out to dine and we will be going back for Valentines, regular...
Read moreI was really looking forward to Yummy Tummy Thai reopening. It has new management. Our takeaway meal was, I'm sad, to say the worst Thai food I have ever tasted. I want this place to do well for the sake of the staff, but the management and chef will have to make considerable improvements before I consider going back. We had a Thai red curry and a Thai green curry, both seemed to be thickened with arrowroot or something similar. Nothing like any Thai food I have tasted before. I last reviewed this place two years ago and gave it five stars. Note that all the good reviews you read on here predate the new management. I decided to delete my 5 star review from 2 years ago as it would...
