KFC Burgess Hill - Market Place Shopping Centre — Restaurant in Mid Sussex

THIS STORE NEEDS A NEW MANAGER !!!! Food was cold and as usual half of it was missing seriously not impressed and fed up with complaining about it to them . Basically throwing my money away . I Will not be ordering from here again until ratings get better .

Add on to my former review . I haven't used Burgess hill KFC since October last year . now I remember why !! I ordered a 10 piece family feast and was told there was no chicken cooked and would have to wait 20 mins ( I waited 30 mins ) for it to be cooked so thought ok ill wait as I'd driven there already , food finally was ready so I checked the bag to make sure all the sides were there before I left and I went home . On opening the bag and removing sides I removed the tub only for the bottom to fall out and all the chicken plus a pool of oil ended up in the bottom of the bag not only that but on removing the chicken from the bag I counted 9 chicken legs YES 9 LEGS and I piece of thigh not a piece of breast In Sight 🤬🤬🤬 just a pile of horrible greasy chicken legs , i would of taken it all back but i had driven 10 mins to get it and everyone was hungry so I ended up having to cook someone something else because they only eat the breast meat and it was 7.30 by the time I got it home the whole reason I got kfc was so I didn't have to cook . So KFC burgess hill are still as S@#T as I remember and their chicken was terrible and I will never eat from there again . I RECOMMEND YOU DONT EITHER !!!!

Just a small add on . So I've just been told they prioritise delivery orderes over in store customers and your very much lightly to have to wait 20 to 30 mins for your food instore 😡 AND THEY CALL THIS...

The most disappointing experience ever in a KFC! I took my granddaughter, as a half term treat, for lunch today. We entered & it was a struggle to find a clean table despite being virtually empty. I tried to order via the app & it kept rejecting my order, I waited to order at the counter & waited & waited & waited! Eventually I was acknowledged & I explained what had happened with the app order and I was told problem with app. I ordered at the counter instead but was unable to order any app only offers! Several delivery people came in during my wait for food & were handed the orders immediately. When I was finally given our order I asked for the 4 dips that should come with the meal & was told there was a selection in the bag, when I asked which dips she had chosen for me I was told “a selection !” I started unpacking the bag & realised a large popcorn chicken was missing, back to the counter to get it. Then we realised there was a portion of fries missing, back to the counter & when I got the attention of a man & explained about a portion of fries missing the woman who took my order & eventually handed me the food appeared & basically shouted at me “I gave you 4 large fries not 5 small! “ I have never experienced such poor service, lack of customer service or such badly managed food outlet. Left a very bad impression when it should have...

Update: we ordered from here via UberEats a year later to see if standards had changed - they have absolutely not changed and our order was missing a significant quantity of food. Wrong drinks, missing dips, missing elements of meals, burgers broken in half… the order was so comically bad. How this store is retaining the KFC franchise is beyond me; the owners should be stripped of their franchise agreement given how poor the service is and the reputation damage they do to the KFC brand. There is clearly very bad management at this particular store if they cannot get the simple things right.

Original review: Unfortunately we have never received food from this restaurant as every time we have ordered a delivery, they either reject the order after 10 minutes, claiming they are out of stock of a core item, or, most frustrating accept the order, then close so the delivery drivers can’t pick up our order.
