MINCKA Coffee — Restaurant in Mid Sussex

I think it's time for me to review Mincka. My partner and I have been having my coffee here since it first opened ('back in the days' lol). The very first few months at Mincka wasn't that great to be honest. I remember when my beans were over-roasted and many other misses.

HOWEVER, we were one of those customers that kept going back and Mincka did not disappoint us. The coffee improved, the services improved and it has been the one and only cafe that I recommend if you ever visit HH. Mincka has been on our weekly cafe stops - when it's not too busy.

The drinks I enjoy the most are batch brew and cold brew - these often run out though. My partner has been getting his morning cortado from here before his work calls as well. Come on Fridays if you want yummy doughnuts (also run out quickly). The cinnamon buns also worth the calories.

The only thing that can improve is to strive for the consistently great service, especially when the cafe gets EXTREMELY busy. When you guys feel overwhelmed, the place can be less welcoming ... and some people can be slightly put off by that.

Overall, visit Mincka if you visit HH. This place will give you the best coffee in town. The quality has been consistent over the years. Also, Matt's latte art is also stunning - not that I ever get any since I mostly drink black coffee. Check their IG if you want to see them.

I really love this cafe and the coffee is good which is why I have kept going back - but I think I’ve hit my limit. It’s such a shame some of the staff are so rude and look at you like you are a problem when you are ordering a coffee, in a coffee shop. Been a few instances where I have felt very unwelcome over the years, (one time I was blamed for them putting the wrong table number on my order- they give you a portable table number 🤣) even strangers have made comments and we have a giggle about how it feels as though we are in trouble. me and my friend visited Mincka today and purchased a drink each i got a chai latte and it was very watery and flavorless which was disappointing considering the price and my friend got a matcha which was also very watery and didn't taste the best , you could get a better one from Waitrose cafe . We tried to eat our lunch and we were very rudely told off and told to put it away when there were other people eating meal deals right next to us who didn't get told off and other people were breaking various cafe rules such as no laptops on tables overall it was an unpleasant and unwelcoming environment and your better off sticking to...
