MacIntyre Great Holm Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Milton Keynes

19/3/25: Not visited for a while, so surprised to see colourful redecoration! Lovely seating areas and table decoration too. As always, the staff are lovely, helpful and the menu is very reasonably priced. It's good to be back, will visit again soon! Thoroughly recommended!

Previous feedback: If you love supporting a local charity and good cause, this is just great. MacIntyre coffee shop employs many of the residents of its Downs Syndrome community to prepare and serve food in this larger than expected cafe. Lots of food choice, cakes and drink options. Food can also be prepared to order (a service the local working community can be seen to take advantage of). Takeaway and on site menus....

What a lovely cafe and doing excellent work. Love it here and highly recommended 😁 However, I don't think the menu is as good as it was in Stony, for example a simple salad is no longer available (they've gone a bit fancy....less is more imho) and also there is only 1 veggie sandwich, which they had run out of on the day I visited (but they did accommodate with an amended meat version). Additionally, the way the orders are recorded doesn't seem straight forward and we've had a few issues with wrong orders. Still love to go there and support...

Food was nice. Unfortunately order got lost despite a senior member of staff being there too. We then had to enquire where our food was after 3/4 hour. It was only a baguette and teacake. It was made quick but we had already drunk our drink so needed another with our food. A drink we didnt intend to have and I could ill afford with a hospital appointment next. So disappointed no consession was made for the added cost of the drinks. Also a rush for...
