Read moreA book should not be judged by its cover. However fist impressions do count. While waiting outside this venue for a seat within I looked up at the signage. It is stained and not the most appealing frontage to draw the crowds inside. I was taken inside by a polite member of staff who showed me upstairs to a table and passed me the menu. The decor inside is in keeping with the desert bar style however it was very unclean. The floors had quite clearly not been swept in some time and the table I was put on was slightly sticky to the touch. Cobwebs were dangling from the air vents and the whole place could do with a good clean. Unfortunatly the cookie dough was not avalible to choose from but after deciding on a waffle I made my way downstairs to order. There are a large amount of desert boxes balanced on along the wall to the till line and while waiting I took view into the kitchen area. Again this area looked both untidy and unclean. The point at which the kitchen staff member who was making the deserts started scratching her nose while putting deserts together without washing hands/changing gloves was a point too far and I left without eating. Such a shame as I was looking forward to eating here. Unfortunatly I would not visit again given how unclean the venue and food preparation...
Read moreDisgusting service I must say, ended up getting a refund and walking out before my food arrived!!
Myself and my young child done a walk in, was greeted and chose our own table which was fine up until this point. Shortly after getting comfortable we were rudely approached by the waitress and demanded my young child stop banging the metal footrail that his FEET RESTS ON!!!! To add further insult the reason given was because there was a baby in the restaurant!!!
Sorry treat street but let me inform you of something as a parent myself. When you take a baby into a restaurant, accepting LOUD NOISES is part of the package!!!! Should we of not talked also to compensate for this baby? Maybe you should turn down the blaring loud music also so the baby can sleep???
Anyway, I'm not begging to pay people where I am not wanted. Ended up demanding my money back then walked straight out to Heavenly Desserts on the opposite side which was way more professional and provided and excellent service start to finish.
Looks like they didn't want my 'kind' in their business, take from this...
