Worst experience ever. Not a child friendly environment anymore. Parents be aware of their new policies in place! ! Might end up like us, not finishing the meal and invited instead to leave the restaurant. Off course paying for the unique and fantastic experience! We used to love Friday's and we used to come every month, that's how much we love the meals. And still believe the menus and chefs are great. But today unfortunately have been extremely dissapointed to see how extreme the management chosen to go with this covid-19 procedures. Is a lot of common sense we all need to agree on, we are fine with following the social distancing and adhere to all policies... But... And there is a BUT.. My concern is with children that are even under 5 years old. My daughter just turned up 3 this sunday. She was fine with sitting at the table for starters but exactly when we received the mains she wanted to stand up at the table in between us and ate her fries, making few steps around, turning around, she is a child, a happy child... She was just having some fun next to our table. We have been asked on 2 occasions she must sit at the table otherwise will have to ask us to leave.... Really now... She is a 3 years old girl. The CEO of Friday's should explain to my daughter and i would like to see if she understands anythig from that... That she MUST sit at the table.or CEO of Fridays should explain to all parents that have small toddles like mine we are not welcomed to the restaurant because the children can not stay still. Sorry i have just been to a 5 stars hotel dinned in their restaurant and felt extremely looked after. And they also have covid - 19 procedures in place. And my daughter is the same, i did not change her. Do you guys have kids at home at all?? Why do you go so far when implementing policies??? Now, where on GOV website anyone is restricting you from having customers to come with children and let them to just be. Where is anything specified regarding toddles, prohibited from being around their parents and strictly forced to sit at the table at all times. You already followed the guidance, why you need to exagerate that much?? If you think is normal than please advertise children are not welcomed to your restaurant. My daughter did not feel welcomed, myself and my husband neither, you ruined our day completely, we were unable to finish our meal(and by the way steak is rubbish if not eaten fresh when is cooked, my husband did not drink his cider) all because even though restaurant is almost empty and you pridely say everyone is at 2m apart, my daughter is disturbing and posibly infecting others by not following the social distancing.... A 3 years old is not following the social distancing by eating her fries standing up at our table and making few steps around the table... She did not go to the bar she did not go to the other side of restaurant and even if she would maybe she would look for the restroom... How do you know?? Management useless. I should have been invited not to pay for the bill if i was asked to leave for this rubbish reason. Nobody apologised and we were treated like aliens. Just because my daughter of 3 years old was not left to eat her fries standing up next to the table, apparently that was also the corridor for the staff to move around... Did i decide where my table to be??? Didn't i make a booking informing i have a child and need an activity pack?? My fault was that i booked with you guys cause anywhere else we dined we had no issue. We celebrated her birthday on sunday in another restaurant everyone was fine, we went to another restaurant on friday we felt very welcomed and looked after... And we came to you... Disgusting customer service... Absolutely disgusting. I wish you best of luck with your business if you consider to go ahead with same policies and staff training. PS: i made the picture cause i actually intented to leave a good review....

TGI Friday in Milton Keynes - Highly Satisfying Dining Experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 stars Review by Peter, Monika, and Weronika Our visit to TGI Friday in Milton Keynes was a memorable one filled with positives. The food was an absolute delight - well prepared, delicious, and served hot. The variety of dishes catered to different tastes and the portion sizes were more than adequate, providing great value for money. The drinks added a refreshing touch to our meal. They were well mixed, chilled to perfection, and served promptly, making them a perfect companion to our meals. The ambiance of the restaurant is both comfortable and lively, adding to the overall dining experience. The seating was spacious and comfortable, allowing for a relaxed dining experience. What truly elevated our experience was the staff. They were not only friendly but also very attentive, ensuring that we were well taken care of throughout our visit. However, TGI Friday in Milton Keynes can get quite busy, so we'd recommend booking in advance to secure a table, especially during peak hours or weekends. All in all, our visit to TGI Friday in Milton Keynes was thoroughly enjoyable, and we'd recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed and satisfying dining experience.

I went here with my friend the other day, we went here quite late, so it was quiet. Unfortunately, what we wanted to order which was the beef ribs (as he didn't eat pork) was sold out, due to them not having much of it available on a day to day, as it's not a popular dish at TGIs but still was a little disappointing. The cocktails more tasted like squash in all honesty, or soft drink, and didn't see the value in the price. The portion of my chips was quite small, and underwhelming, when I flagged this to the waitress she said that's how it's meant to be, which was no problem, but my friends looked significantly more than mine. Weren't expecting a gourmet experience obviously, it is just TGIs but still not the best experience. He paid for us both, which was around £50, and he didn't feel like it was worth the money he paid at all. :/ it's okay, just okay. Depends on what one is looking for, decent American diner? it does the job!

The whole experience of what I have received in this restaurant this evening has left me feeling very disappointed. The service was poor from the start of my visit until I left. We had pre-booked a table for my daughters Birthday at 7.30pm. On arriving we were told no tables available as the restaurant was busy, but we could sit at a table where we could place our orders via a QR code on the App. We weren't even offered a menu to decide what we would like to eat and drink. We were a party of six with one person ordering via the App. There was no apology for a table we had pre-booked not being available, honestly felt as if we were an inconvenience to the person who showed us to the table. We placed our food and drinks order via the App. Our drinks came out about 15 mins after ordering. We had ordered re-fillable's. Our starter didn't come out for 40 minutes after ordering, before this we had drank our drinks. There was no waiter/waitress to see to ask to refill. My son went to the bar, he wasn't even acknowledged eventually a waitress did attend our table, with my son still waiting at the bar. The waitress went away and refilled our glasses. As previously stated our starters didn't come to our table until 40 minutes after placing our order. The quality of all our starters was very good. But before I had even finished a waiter came to our table asking us if we wanted our mains now. It was all very rushed. It was my daughters birthday and should have been a nice evening out celebrating and enjoying the experience. At the end my wife spoke to we believe the Manager about our experience, he was very apologetic and said if we visited again our experience would be better. But that isn't the point service should be excellent every time you visit a restaurant. I appreciate sometimes Restaurants can be stretched due to more customers than staff scheduled for or staff absence. As a paying customer all that it would have taken would the first waitress to let us know this, rather than enduring an awful experience and honestly feeling that our custom wasn't welcome on the night. On the night we spent over £200, Reflecting back I really wished we had eaten at one of your competitors on the strip. If my daughter hadn't been looking froward to going to TGI's as her birthday meal we wouldn't have stayed. The whole evening I truly believe has been ruined by the lack of service and treatment we received. Hasten to add I won't be visiting this TGI restaurant. I would like to get some feedback on the back of my review, from someone senior as to why our experience was so bad and how things will be different if we visit this restaurant again, Through out the evening it was interesting to see two waitresses more concerned with wiping down tables than be attentive to customers. Your feedback would be appreciated as mentioned...

Went here on Sunday night for dinner with my partner, the young lady at the front was really helpful, as I wanted a particular seat as my partner was ordering a platter which is a bit awkward for space on the individual tables. She obl which was really appreciated. Unfortunately, the service after that was pretty poor from the server. Took 10 minutes just to come back with my partners drink, after I had already received mine, so wasn’t the best to start. I don’t know what it is about this place, but it’s very hit and miss, staff are either super happy or just cannot be bothered in the slightest. After our mains my partner downloaded the app, which gave you a free dessert which was nice. We ordered this, and my partner actually timed the server to see how long it would take for them to come back over, once we had this. It was 22 minutes before they came back over once we’d finished eating the dessert. The server comes back over, with the bill (which we wanted to request, but nobody to be seen to do so), and said ‘I’ll put this here for you let me know when you’re ready’. What gets me is what if I actually wanted to order anything else? had the server came over earlier we would have ordered more drinks, but couldn’t be bothered after waiting over 20 minutes just to see them again. Just feels like a transaction at this point, I have done the same job previously and I know it’s tiring so can allow for some slack, however this was just blatantly being ignored after the point of getting dessert, since from our seating we could see staff just talking rather than coming back over (even walked past us once after clearing cutlery off another table, looked at the plate and still walked off). Cannot be bothered at this point to return as it’s not the first time we’ve had...
