KFC Milton Keynes - The Stadium — Restaurant in Milton Keynes

The last time I went to a KFC was in 1994, when i got major food poisoning (courtesy of the Watford branch). Today, after smelling the aroma of KFC in Milton Keynes, I decided to visit with my wife and son. This visit unfortunately did little to restore my faith.. Long queue of people, 2 staff serving. it looked like there were possibly 4 or 5 cash tills available. This was Saturday 28th September, afternoon time around 16:00hrs. The staff serving were miserable- almost moody looking. when serving my wife, who was ordering food for my young son jamie, the look she received when asking a question about the childrens menu was really cold and unfriendly and my wife does not normally comment. litter and food remains such as half eaten chicken drumsticks were very visibly strewn across and under several tables. Families with young children were coming in to sit down in this area. the young children were clearly happy to be coming here for food and this is the welcome they receive! Terrible...The tables were not cleaned for a good 30 mins or so at which point a member of staff came out with the meanest and most miserable look on his face I have ever seen. no music, no atmosphere. All in all a pretty low experience. my wife's chicken looked barely cooked I am proud to have actually worked at what was a busy KFC branch in north London, as a young student-many years ago. I also earned three consecutive top mark 'mystery customer' reports, so I know a little bit about KFC and their standards. This was dismal. Perhaps a bad day for the team, but still this should not happen. This is where Mcdonald's shine. they have superior standards that are regulated much more strictly. consistenly good service, hygiene and presentation. for me, mcdonalds is the best value for money for a family...

Firstly, as a tourist in a country or someone visiting from another city i will never be going back to milton keynes. This is the worse kfc ever. The customer service was so bad, only reason i stayed was to get my 10 yr old something to eat which in the end i couldnt. Went inside waited for 45 mins to make an order no one acknowledged me, would say hello excuse me, hi, can i get some help every single staff member there ignored me. Went to the drive threw thought i would at least get acknowledged, finally spoke to a member of staff who definitely has anger issues and needs to be retrained, he told me they had no chicken for the night only chicken strips, at a whole kfc no chicken, it would take 30 mins to make a new batch as because of an event near by, staff was busy and couldn’t attend to ppl. Wait it got worse, asked to speak to a manager, was told no manager on duty think he said they had team leader, as i went to make a complain, i heard the original staff member yelling through the drive through window that theres this lady that wants to speak to you about making her order i’ve explained to her we don’t have anymore chicken and it would take us 30minutes to make out of frustration i believe. My thing is that i understand staff members frustration of overloading orders, customers and commitment to a job but ive never experience such bad service without even getting food after waiting for over an hour. If I could give 0 stars I would. I don't normally leave bad reviews, but unfortunately I feel I have to on this occasion. Firstly, my wife only went in to get a kids meal for my son... after 20 minutes I called to see what the wait was for her to say they served her straight away but the order number still says preparing even though people that come after with bigger meals have come and gone?? So I went inside to he greeted by the most rudest member of staff I have ever come across.... she said your wife doesn't listen when the numbers are being called out, to what I replied " the order number still says you are preparing not saying to collect yet".... after arguing for about 5 minutes she finally gave us the meal after she prepared it (even though it was supposedly already prepared).... finally got the car and open the bag for my son that is 4 years old, to be the wrong food.... worse it was still raw. The meal went straight on the bin and went across the road to mcdonalds, 5 minutes later he was eating his freshly cooked mcdonalds. Not sure how KFC can keep getting stuff wrong. Fix up,...
