Royal Fried Chicken & Pizza — Restaurant in Mole Valley

We order a substantial walk in takeaway for a family of 7 which amounted to an inordinate amount of food! The food itself first... I watched it being made fresh and it was OK. The pizza was decent, soft fluffy base with strong string cheese, just how I like it. Next the burgers, they were OK, as you would expect from a fried chicken place. The fried chicken and hot wings, again, perfectly acceptable. The batter was decent and the taste was what you would expect.

The not so good bits. The customer service was poor. The man that served me seemed devoid of any interpersonal skills and didn't even make eye contact. The whole order was taken without asking if any seasoning was required for the fries or sauces to go with the food etc. The fries came out wet and unseasoned and there was no option for sauces or any drinks offered as part of a large order. The food was good enough to eat again if push came to shove but the service and finish meant that I'm unlikely to order from here again when the whole affair seems rather transactional and little to no care was taken to ensure that the experience for a first time customer wasn't...

Really awful and rude staff both times recently. Tried to order a peri peri chicken whole which they said they have never done although it's online menu. Then rudely hung up. Ordered a Mexican wrap which is nothing Mexican about it just a bit of chicken in a wrap that tastes rank. When we complained got the phone out down on us. 2nd time the member of staff said yeah nothing Mexican about it. Why name it Mexican if it's just a piece of chicken and why pay more than the standard wraps. Really horrible people and frankly truly disgusting. Will report to trading standards. Not to mention them not giving change, over charging for items you didn't order and then trying to deny although you have proof and ripping you off. Always check your change. Awful...

This is exactly why I prefer Dorking rather than leatherhead Royal fried chicken!! 12 x chicken strips (Leatherhead.... not fresh , moist or tender, instead, very rubbery and def not fresh!!) Disappointing..... yes!! Dorking royal chicken (fresh, hot, moist, just as chicken should be!!)

Tower burgersx2 leatherhead royal chicken, cold chewy and rubbery chicken. Dorking Royal chicken.... hot, fresh, moist and delicious. Recommended highly.
