Skoops (Leatherhead) — Restaurant in Mole Valley

Dined in for dinner after having a really decent takeaway a few weeks ago. Unfortunately the service was pretty shocking dinning in.

We were the only two people in there on a Tuesday evening around 19:00, they took 40 minutes from ordering to being served. They kept prioritising the delivery drivers coming in the door.

The toilets were unclean and the dryer was switch off at the wall.

I ordered the burger meal and asked for cheese chips instead of regular chips. I was charged £18 after being asked to repeat my order a few times. I then challenged the price as it was meant to be £11 for the burger meal. They said they have to charge for cheese chips separately so I asked for a refund on them. They were only 3.99 so I still had to challenge what the extra £3 was for. Eventually they refunded the £3 as well.

They ran out of burger sauce so we ask for ketchup and mayonaise, we were told it might cost extra.

The food finally came out and they did not provide a napkin, cutlery or any condiments. We had to ask for these, we were told the ketchup for the chips would cost extra.

They brought out some ketchup and said they spoke to the owner and they said it was ok to bring out the ketchup this time.

The server might have been new but they should have had someone keeping an eye if so.

It's a shame because it looks like a great place and previously ordered a takeaway from there that was...

Ordered a waffle for home delivery also paid for extras. First waffle came without one of two added extras or some if what it said it came with on the site. I called back and after being told there definitely was one of the added extras that there definitely wasn’t, they offered to send out another, I was hesitant as waited a while for first one, they said they can get it done in 10 minutes, it arrived and it was COMPLETELY underdone, almost like mush 🤮 and missed the other added extra that they originally did on the first one? And never told me anything about it until delivery. Was about 10 past 10 at this point if not later so obviously they would have been closing the store and it was getting so late I completely lost my appetite for it. Very very disappointed, won’t be wasting my money again there anytime soon and it’s a shame as was a regular visitor...

Customer service is shocking, this place has seriously gone downhill, without fail always missing something from the order whether that be the ice cream or custard or drink, or don’t have what it is I have ordered, today they sent the wrong order completely and tried to say it’s because I called up and changed my order to something completely different entirely, when I said that wasn’t true the girl on the phone said that mine was the only order in so they know who’s order they took over the phone and changed and again when I said that is not true she replied with “so what do you want me to do about that” Once I asked to speak to the manager I was told he wasn’t there and had just left, I called back a short while later to speak to the manager again and they backtracked and said they’d been really busy and got two orders mixed up, still no manager that I...
