Krua Thai 88 — Restaurant in New Forest

I would like to begin by asking everyone, please do come to this place expecting atmosphere. We noticed that bad reviews are complaining about the lack atmosphere. This place is about food and authenticity. And we find it is best enjoyed at the comfort of your own home :)

We have moved away from New Milton to Bristol 6 years ago, and to this day, we have not been able to find a takeaway restaurant with flavours, at least close to Krua Thai 88.

Our top favourite meals are Pad Thai(both chicken and prawn), Tom Kha Gai soup and Massaman curry with simple rice.

I highly recommend this place and we will be returning every time we are visiting the area.

Fantastic authentic and delicious Thai food. Some of the most deliciously fragrent Thai curry, made from all fresh ingredients.

Vicky's Thai green or red curry with tofu is an absolute winner. The perfect balance of spicy, fragrent, rich and creamy. Paired with coconut rice this is hands down one of my favorite meals.

Vicky is always super friendly and welcoming and makes us feel so at home in her restaurant.

Large portion sizes too! Restaurant atmosphere could be improved possibly, but the food quality and friendly service really make this place shine.

As long as Vicky and her husband continue serving up such fantastic quality food I will keep...

Such a wonderful place to dine. We were served quickly and with a kindness that goes unmatched! I went with my sister and my mother for my mother’s birthday (which wasn’t mentioned in the booking) and as a dessert we were greeted with banana fritas and ice cream which were absolutely delicious. The lovely waitress Wikki (I hope that is how her name is spelt) was extremely attentive and realised it was my mother’s birthday and therefore arranged the dessert which was a wonderful surprise for us all. The atmosphere was peaceful and the place is well decorated. I look forward to going back even just to visit the staff. Thank you...
