After a year of trading this is what Simon Heydecke, Regional Property Manager Greggs, had to say to me "We will be writing to the car park owner shortly and hope to enter into a dialogue with them about the restrictions to try to agree a more sustainable long term solution for our customers." All the other shops have a list that they submit to Britania Parking if you overstay the ridiculously short allowance to be exempt from their pcn. But not Greggs. Why not? Did they not know about this after a year of trading? Oh! Did I mention that the parking charges only started when Greggs arrived. Why? There would seem to be a conspiracy here somewhere. My advice. Read moreLet's start with you know what the food is going to be because it's Greggs. That leaves service and store. Service is quick but as is the way in most retail now, it is understaffed at key times in my opinion. How they expect one person alone to make, bake and take orders at breakfast is daft. Which leads into the issues other people have mentioned about availability of items. The store is massive and has more seating and space than any other Greggs I've been to.
