Definitely won' be going back there. I would highly recommend that you check your bill before paying, ask how much a pint of Coke is before buying and remind them to give you your food. Apparently a pint of Coke is £4.00, however, it's £3.90 for a pint of beer. Unsure how they worked this out. My boyfriend and I went out for a meal there with another couple and our bill was £53 and theirs was £30. The only difference in what we ordered was that my boyfriend and i had an extra starter (which he tried to charge £9 for when it's £4.85) and 2 more pints of Coke. So a £23 pound difference. When I contested the bill the waiter got the manager and he was pretty abrupt about my contesting and commented that I was lucky and he had actually missed my starters off the bill...when he added them on and took of the '£9.00 starter' the bill came down to £52.55...lucky me. We ordered popadums only and the gave us pickles to go with it which we were charged for which we weren't told about. They forgot one of our starters at the beginning and one of the rice with our main and didn't replace the cutlery after we had the starters. Not the greatest experience last night (although on the previous visit all was fine). One dish was pleasant and the other was too salty to eat.

OK, we all have off days and I can accept that, however the reaction of our waiter and then the owner was to listen to my complaint, smile and walk away. Even when I deducted the cost of the inedible dish from the bill absolutely no acknowledgement was made about this or the awful food.

There are two possible scenarios, either they have never had a complaint before and had no idea what to do or they get complained at so regularly that ignoring the problem is their solution.

One bad meal does not condemn a restaurant as things do go wrong sometimes but the complete indifference of those who work there to problems will make me question if I should...

On line delivery of approx 35 mins. After 70 mins I phoned to check they had received the order and when did they think I would receive it. I was barraged by a rapid talking 'gentleman' about how busy they were. He kept cutting across me so I asked him to listen to me please and to give me some idea whether our order had left or not and if not when. We had a similar order once that took an hour and 20 mins to arrive and was cold needing 30 mins in the oven. He told me to and I kid you not to 'Get lost' and hung up on me. I rang back to ask if I had heard him correctly (which I certainly had) and he hung up again. Charming customer service. Curry good but has left a sour taste for us. No more orders unless I receive some explanation of this...
