Ma Ma Thai Newark — Restaurant in Newark and Sherwood

We came here for a New years eve meal and it was fantastic. The portions were massive and we couldn’t eat everything so had to take a doggy bag. The service was fast and we had two courses and drinks in less than an hour. Food was perfectly balanced, especially the curry- it was exceptional. We will definitely be visiting again soon. We absolutely loved the table decorations too, little touches like that make the experience even better - the napkins even smelt of fresh washing so you could tell that they take cleanliness...

Prawn Pad Thai: Extremely Sweet unpleasent stir fry sauce. Prawns tasteless.

Chicken masamman and Rice: Dry and flavourless chicken in sweet curry sauce. Rice was of poor quality.

Prawn Dumplings: Minced Prawn wrapped in dumpling sheet. Not pleasant to bite and eat. Lacked flavour.

Veg spring rolls: Great and delicious.

Very quick delivery via Deliveroo.

Will not be ordering from here again as it was not cheap for what it...

Had a meal booked with my partner as we were staying the night a few doors down. Service was flawless. Very attentive and friendly and ensuring we had our water topped up. Food was absolutely delicious and flavourful. Very reasonably priced :) Had the prawn crackers, cocktail soup (enjoyed it so much forgot to take a photo until the last few mouthfuls), mocktail, chips, sweet and sour chicken and coconut rice.
