Arena Restaurant — Restaurant in Newcastle-under-Lyme

We would like to think that we are curry connoisseurs 😜. Been to a lot of different restaurants. We moored up near the harecastle tunnel and decided to pop into kidsgrove for a curry. We were recommended Arena by a customer that was standing outside. We took a chance and it was a good decision. Karen was brilliant and the food was fantastic. The lamb was so tender, fresh cauliflower in the bhaji and the channawalla was so tasty. Would thoroughly recommend. Ordered for the first time was extremely disappointed as the reviews were quite good and expected a lot more than we got, nan bread bread was very thin and crispy chips were like cardboard and curry was very bland and it cost 25 pound which I dont mind paying if it's nice but it really wasnt I found poppadom in my curry and 2 chips when I poured it out on my plate which led me to think maybe I've had somebody's leftovers??? I dont know, the one thing I do know is I will never be ordering from this...

So this little restaurant has been here for as long as I can remember and they have always had consistently good food.

It is a little pricey, but the atmosphere of a cozy little place with great service is worth the price.

All of the food across the board is delicious and I would highly recommend you dine-in at this place at-least once to try it out.

Again, the staff are very welcoming and professional, this is a great place for party's up...
