Kass Kebab House — Restaurant in Newcastle-under-Lyme

Alright so I am seeing a lot of negative reviews and I’m not trying to discount them at all but feel I must write an honest review.

I have not ordered pizza, burgers or fried chicken but I can tell you that the kebabs are absolutely blinding!

We regularly order the chicken special kebab, it is around £20 with delivery and feeds two big eaters… it has a ton of very juicy chicken that has a really nice marinade, a load of really nice doner meat, decent chips and certainly one of the signatures here, a good amount of really fresh salad, red cabbage, lettuce, onion etc.

Just to stress, some of the reviews mention they don’t give enough food; in my experience they are overly generous, a small doner with chips is even larger than a large at most other places around here.

This place is great, they have indeed had issues with quality before and they immediately fixed the issues after a few weeks of receiving feedback.

Delivery for us usually takes between 10-20 mins, the quickest (Though we are just down the road) was 4 mins from ordering, straight to my door.

Ordered online, the website refreshed itself as I was paying but it said order confirmed so I assumed the payment was taken. Food comes and I have been told I need to pay, I told the delivery woman what had happened and she went back to Kass, just to come back about 10 minutes later and pounds on my front door. I was a little busy so didn't get straight to it and the takeaway called me - they swore at me and behaved very rudely because I didn't open the door straight away. Guy on the phone to the woman called me a "skank" and said I wanted to rip them off just as I was getting my money out! Disgusting behaviour, returned the food. Paid £13.50 for a double gourmet bacon burger with a portion of onion rings. Onion rings were standard but that burger was manky. The beef tasted just ok but it had a hard rubbery texture which was not nice and the bacon?
