Medina Fast Food — Restaurant in Newcastle-under-Lyme

Alright, so the reviews were looking good, so after some research I decided to try it out.

This building has often housed historically bad takeaways, so I was very skeptical and even checked Companies House to ensure it’s not the same owner, which it wasn’t thankfully.

We had the peri half chicken, chips, donner meat, mozzarella sticks, side salad and grilled chicken wings.

The peri half chicken and wings were actually very decent, although beaten by a chicken place in very close proximity.

Sadly, the rest of the food was below average, delivery was slightly faster than most but all of the items were somehow almost cold, we microwaved it and added some peri sauce of our own which helped a lot.

Ordered food to be sent to the hotel we were staying at, order was to be delivered between 18.45 and 19.05, and we picked that we meet outside for delivery. Hubby went out at 1840 in case it came at 18.45, waited and waited no delivery, phoned medina and the staff member said driver had been waiting in car park for 10 minutes, told him no he wasnt, staff member was extremely rude, hubby came back up to room and i phoned medina again and was told it was left at reception i told him i dont know what your driver was doing because there was no way he was where he said he was the driver lied, so my hubby went down and the lass at reception said it arrived 2 minutes after my hubby came in,...

The best food in Stoke on Trent!
