Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Newcastle-under-Lyme

I regularly visit here mainly the drive through. This costa is cosy, the staff are always so nice. Ive been inside a few times. And its so nice it feels relaxing. Only draw back was I have been on 2 evenings around 7.30 - 7.45 as it says its open till 9? And bit nights I went it was shut. There were other customers that arrived and also drove off. So want to remove a star for that but the staff are so nice. The hours needed amending. Had to take a few stars off recent visits have been dissapointing. The latte that I love the maple and peach one, they have got wrong more than a few times. OPENING HOURS NEED UPDATING They are never open in the evening until 9,. Your lucky...

Bad experience, I was third in the drive thru queue and took over 20mins to get served. Ordered a cappuccino only to receive a lukewarm latte. The staff member was adamant it was a cappuccino but couldn't explain why the cup is full to the top with milk. Note sprinkling chocolate on top doesn't make a cappuccino. My advice would be to save time and money and pop into the petrol station part and get a machine to do it. It really isn't difficult to make a good cappuccino instead I got a warm milk tasting of cardboard and for those in the know it tasted like there is more coffee in Camp Coffee. Could be a new retro product range opportunity...

Stopped for a coffee and a bacon bap on way to an appointment, fortunately I was running early. Because my van is to tall for drive thru I had to park and go inside the store. Not a major issue, I'm used to most of the fast food places having drive thru systems made for midgets.

But it soon became obvious the store was way understaffed for such a busy Sunday morning and I ended up queueing for nearly 15 minutes for my food. The service I did receive was good from the 2 staff members.

So I have dropped stars for the service, only because there were not enough staff members to cope with how busy it was. Otherwise everything...
