Adriano’s Deli — Restaurant in Newcastle upon Tyne

The small skinny girl with the greasy hair served me a stone cold panini, being as I always get my paninis from Adrianos, and have been doing so for years, I thought maybe there’s been a mistake and wasn’t fussed, so I kindly asked the girl to make me a new one which was warm, as a panini should be. Straight away she had attitude and made me feel very unwelcome. I don’t mind paying near £7 for a panini, when done properly, but to be treated like that when the mistake was on the girl with the greasy hair ? I would suggest you spend your money elsewhere. Ordered the following take away food: 2 rice balls, one with bolognese, one with ham and mozzarella (there was hardly any ham) one portion of meatballs (barely edible, I assume they were old frozen stock) one slice of berry cheesecake (the slice was SO small, and it didn't even have much taste to it) one slice of coffee cake (this, together with the place being clean and staff being polite, are worth 2 starts by themselves). Overpriced and bad service!

2 paninis (full of Modena vinegar) and 2 coffees £20, served in plastic plates. They forgot about the coffees and when we finished our food, we had to ask for the drinks, so we waited for a while to get the coffees. After that the manager said to us that the don’t offer table service if we order at the cafe and we sit outside terrace, but I asked if we could sitting outside and the waitress said yes!
