My friend and I were left slight miffed by our experience, especially in contrast to the very positive reviews we had seen to help inform our decision to visit.

The restaurant has a nice ambience, it is very clean, tidy, and there is an attention to detail on the table that portrays a professional setting.

However, we both found the service to be impersonal, rushed and not as we had hoped from previous reviews.

We both enjoyed the poppadoms and spice tray, which had a nice selection of five accompaniments. Although the flavour was nice, it was not as deep and rich as i would have liked. Our mains were served with rice and a peshwari naan, the sides faired better than the mains unfortunately. My paneer rogan josh was lacking in depth of flavour and the paneer was rubbery and had likely not been prepared as it needs to be to avoid this texture. I appreciate paneer can be a hit or miss ingredient, but i have had excellent paneer curries in the past.

It’s always great to feel valued as a guest, especially when the staff goes the extra mile to recommend dishes, accommodate preferences, or ensure you’re comfortable.

Had a delivery that was just amazing. A family evening meal that was as good in price as it was in taste. Quoted an hour for deliver but turned up early and super hot.

Without a doubt the best tasting Indian meal in Newcastle that we have tried, and we have tried a lot. This will be our go to from now on.

Amazing delicate and complex flavours with just the right portion size. We could not make up up minds which was the best dish so we had to settle on the butter chicken, chicken bhirina and naans. As ever ordered too much rice. As I am writing the review my favourite was the sag aloo. It surprised me with a spicy kick, but OMG it was good. I did share it out evenly, honest!
