Its just the best. A small nature section going on which is great with a mix of plants and willow which shapes a tunnel where the children have great fun chasing one another. The park is full of good responsible adults with laughter from the children enjoying play and making new friends. Money cant buy freetime like this. Weekends have free tennis lessons too. There are many responsible dog walkers too enjoying play time for there babes. Now a hot drinks van most days and summer has the usual ice cream van too. A cafe looks out over the area. People of all ages are seen around the park, listening to music or meeting friends or finding joy as an elderly person, watching the world go by. Mums with prams doing a full workout was my last thought. They were all enjoying the keep fit. Many more going on there which is all good. Go enjoy something. You know you want to 😁 look on the parks notice board for more information. #Update# Its very unfortunate for this lovely space to be let down by the bowling green being over run with weeds. No players allowed. No gardener. No maintenance. Come on guys. This is a very special place for visitors old and young yet this spot has been...

Also within the park there seems to be a tennis club as it seemed to be an organised game, anyway in general I found it to be quite a well run park, tidy, toilets within the small shopping mall that I went through to get into the park, I will definitely be going back again as I look on it as another place to visit when I go out each day. If you do decide to visit the park why not have a walk down Gosforth High Street, it has so interesting little shops you can look in and plenty of coffee shops...
Read moreLovely little park that is very well kept and jam packed full of facilities. The flowers are beautiful and there are lots of mature trees. On the Saturday we went there was an ice cream van selling huge whippy ice creams and pots of gelato. There was also a coffee cart and access to the rear of the shopping centre for toilets, shops and more cafes. There were plenty of picnic and normal benches - but all were full as this is a very popular park
The children's park and basketball/tennis courts were very busy and looked well kept.
Our first time here but we really enjoyed being in the buzz and enjoying...
