A Delightful Introduction to Hatim's Culinary Journey

My first visit to Hatim Restaurant proved to be an unforgettable foray into the realm of authentic Arabic and Turkish cuisine. As a British chap with an Arabic oriental background, it was truly heartwarming to find a restaurant that serves halal food and takes great pride in delivering a scrumptious culinary experience. The amiable owner, of Arabic origin, conversed with ease in both English and Arabic, adding to the welcoming atmosphere.

One dish that particularly caught my fancy was the Ali Nazik Lamb. The tender, flavourful lamb, served atop a bed of creamy, smoked aubergine, left me craving more. I also savoured the delightful Chicken Beiti, a loaded sandwich of taste that, much to my surprise, wasn't listed on the online menu. Top it off with their heavenly knafeh and baklava, and you'll find yourself floating on a sweet cloud...

Disappointing Experience at Hatim Restaurant

As a family of four and regular customers of Hatim Restaurant, we chose to dine there on my son's birthday (21-Dec-2024). Our usual order is the mixed grill, which we’ve always enjoyed. Unfortunately, this time was a complete disappointment.

The lamb ribs seemed uncooked and were far too tough, while the chicken wings and kebabs were clearly not fresh. When I raised my concerns, the staff admitted that the ribs were not from spring lamb. We struggled to enjoy the meal, and to make matters worse, my little one, whose birthday we were celebrating, ended up vomiting everything afterward.

This experience was deeply disheartening, and I can no longer recommend this...

I just came back from this restaurant and was incredibly disappointed. The batata hara was raw and the musaka was served as if it was a lamb curry on a sizzler plate even though it should be layered with ground meat, veggies, cream sauce and cheese. we even told the waiter that it wasn't a musaka and even showed him a photo of a musaka that they posted on their Instagram then he processed to show the cheif it which he responded with that he had no idea about the musaka being served like that. We ordered a mixed grill which was served with extremely small lamb chops, dry chicken and over spiced lamb kebab.
